After calling two other Hyundai dealerships and being told they could not "accommodate me" I called Stamford Hyundai at 10am on a Saturday morning looking to get in to fix headlight issues. Over the Thanksgiving holiday, I noticed that my windshield wiper arms were not functioning normally. I hadn't worried too much initially, but I noticed they were getting worse each morning when I d windshield wiper arms were not functioning normally. I hadn't worried too much initially, but I noticed they were getting worse each morning when I defrosted my windows. Then, we had a rainy day and the driver side wiper arm was not moving at all. Frankly, I panicked and made the first appointment I could with Stamford Hyundai. I work in Manhattan Monday - Friday, so I thought finding a few moments to stop by during regular business hours would be near to impossible. However, I had the pleasure of coordinating with Peter Reed who was more than accommodating to my schedule. He made time for me first thing the next day and ensured I was the first customer in line for the service I requested. I was maybe at Stamford Hyundai for no more than 10 minutes total before my vehicle was thoroughly inspected and repaired. It was a miracle! I am so grateful to Peter and team for all they did to ensure my safety on the road, especially during this winter weather. I'm relatively new to the Stamford community and so grateful to know that I am supported by such a wonderful dealership. More
DO NOT USE SERVICE if you want excellent customer service and care. Guys at service desk can be rude and condescending. In the past, I wasn't overly impressed with the service in general, but the most recen and care. Guys at service desk can be rude and condescending. In the past, I wasn't overly impressed with the service in general, but the most recent experience was such a bad one that it is worth sharing here. My car broke down and had it towed there. After my husband had a conversation with David about when Hyundai would look at the car -- which ended in an altercation -- I actually had the car towed from the dealership to another car place, so that I can do business with a place that cares about my car and future business. I was inconvenienced and had to pay another $60 for a second tow, but what Stamford Hyundai needs to remember is that consumers have a choice. It's not too much off my nose to find another service place and to buy cars other than Hyundai. For any business, the cheapest and most profitable customer to keep is an existing customer. The Stamford dealer just lost one. We are currently in the process of buying another car, and the Santa Fe Sport was a very strong contender. We would have bought from the Stamford dealership as we had a relationship there. No more. A loss of thousands for the Stamford dealer, in both service and in car sales, all for a poorly handled conversation by the service desk. More
Yesterday, my oil lights came on and my engine began to rattle on my 2013 Elantra. I am from Massachusetts and travelling the area. I visited Stamford Hyundai first thing this morning and did not have a schedueled appointment. David and the team were simply excellent - friendly, professional, calming, and understanding. Evidently, my car was experiencing oil/oil filter concerns due to an after market oil change at a non-Hyundai dealership. Lesson learned. In summary, my car is OK. Thank you to Dave and Stamford Hyundai. More

I think they know that the most profitable relationship is one where they keep their customers coming back (and spreading the word). I must admit I'm always pleasantly surprised that they wash the car with every service...nice bonus for me. I'd highly recommend their service for any car (I bring my Honda there). More
