Jim Mallis, the manager of Star Preowned in Easton, argued with me about specific features on a Duramax Pickup Truck. He claimed an LT truck would never be available with cloth seats. I kindly said t argued with me about specific features on a Duramax Pickup Truck. He claimed an LT truck would never be available with cloth seats. I kindly said that's incorrect, that an LT is standard with cloth seats. He became very agitated and I used my iPhone to bring up Chevy's website and show him how he is incorrect. Jim became irate over a small detail where he was incorrect and said Chevy's website is wrong. He said he knows all the features since he used to be a manager at another dealer. Extremely unprofessional! He said I would never find a truck with these features or at the price I was looking for. It only took me 15 minutes to travel to another dealer and find 5 trucks LT with Cloth seats. After thinking the incident was over, my parents went to Star later in the day to look for a vehicle and he confronted them and explained how he wanted to throw me out of the dealer since I was trying to prove him wrong and make him look like a liar. As a pharmacist I must know thousands of drugs and information about them so I won't harm a person by giving wrong information. To me, proper facts are essential, even if it is knowing a handful of car models that a dealer is responsible for. Don't waste your time with this man or dealer. More

Rob did a superb job in locating the vehicle we needed in a timely manner. The salesmen went well beyond most salesmen by measuring parts of the truck prior to the purchase to make sure the vehicle would fit a timely manner. He also set up a super convenient delivery and had the truck detailed to perfection. Rob spent time explaining the many new features and going over the new technology in the vehicle. We have been a long time customer of Star but have never used salesmen Rob Ehrig, we would recommend him and this dealer without hesitation. Rob adds a friendly and knowledgeable component to the Star experience that would keep even the pickiest of buyers returning again and again. A+ More

We’ve been doing business with Star Buick GMC in Easton for years… We have had 7 vehicles from Star over the years, and they have never disappointed us. Always getting more for our money at Star than any other dealership we have shopped at. We live in central NJ, and I can't stress enough that the trip is well worth it. Pat Gruhler is always friendly, and very knowledgeable about the cars and trucks. We pass many dealerships in New Jersey to get to Star, and there is a reason for that. Worst experience I've ever had with a dealership. We were contacted by their internet manager, who did great in getting us all the information, but when we got there, he introduced us to John Hershey. John was knowledgable about the car, but when we found the car we wanted, I felt like they were trying to screw me. They wanted to give me far less for my trade than any other dealer, and they were unwilling to work with me on the price of theirs. When I had enough, Bob, the sales manager came out and only made things worse. He's a pompus a** who thinks he knows everything. I will never recommend Star. Hopefully, you don't waste half your day there like I did. Star=STAY AWAY More

They will not work on your car without telling you the cost involved. Because of their great service dept I decided to purchase another vehicle from this specific dealer. Mark Anthony in the showroom is an up front honest guy when it comes to sales. This is very rare in my car buying experience elsewhere, but not at Star. Terrific team of professionals working there. I discovered Star on the interenet , their website had all of their inventory posted with features, price and pictures. The Internet manager Mike answered all of my questions before I got into the dealers all of their inventory posted with features, price and pictures. The Internet manager Mike answered all of my questions before I got into the dealership. I came in to test drive and was treated very well not like a lot of other dealers I went to. I was not pressured and called repeatedly. I went back the next day and bought it. I would highly recomend Star and Mike. More
