I came in around 11am on a Monday. There were no vehicles waiting to be checked in for service, but the service writer was still obviously upset that I came in without an appointment. I informed him that I called the week before and was told an appointment wasn't required but I'd have to wait. I told the service writer I didn't mind waiting. But he was still upset and wanted to know the person's exact name that told me no appointment was required. I didn't remember who I talked to the week before, it would be crazy to remember someone's name that mentioned it one time during a 1 minute phone call a week ago. The service writer told me I'd have to wait 2 and a half hours. I said no problem. My truck was finished in 1 hour. When I returned, the service department still had zero vehicles waiting. And I was the only customer in their office. It was a very slow day. No reason to be upset when you get a walk in. I've done service writing myself. It's not that difficult, especially on a slow day. Curiously, i called again and again i was told you do offer walk in service for oil changes. So..... Giving a customer attitude about walking in, when you offer walk in service, is unacceptable to say the least. More
