Monday morning my husband called for the shuttle as his west point base ID is in the car & they said they'd pick him up. hours go by, he called repeatedly & kept being told they'll pick up soon. nearly the end of the day (15:30), after having missed work all day, he called & got someone who said they don't have a shuttle! he asked for a manager but they claimed the manager is always out of the office. finally he complained enough that they offered a loaner vehicle. he was in the loaner about to pull away when the service manager came running out to take it back because I had left a review. they required me to remove the review or they'd take the loaner back, so I removed it. they said they wanted to start with a clean slate & earn our business, so he gave them another chance. the next day they said his car was ready, claiming it was just bad gas. he wanted to replace the spark plugs & put the hundreds in diagnostic fees towards the work, but ford refused because of my (removed) review. so I'm reposting my review since they banned us. I wish I had seen yelp first, their Google rating is inflated as I suspect they coerce people into removing reviews much like they did with us. More

I went in for an oil change and had to GO BACK- and when I did- they sent the newbie out and she lived my seats and everything- $91 for what? My inconvenience- now I'll be taking it to another place. I brought my 2018 Ford F-150 pick up truck to sunshine ford for an oil change and an inspection. My oil change was taken care of, but I was told that I couldn’t get inspected because my rear brakes were r ford for an oil change and an inspection. My oil change was taken care of, but I was told that I couldn’t get inspected because my rear brakes were ready for a catastrophic failure. I was charged for the inspection anyway. I then went up the road to another inspection station and they deemed my rear brakes safe and issued me an inspection sticker. I went out and purchased the brake pads and rotors myself and when I took the rear brakes apart, I found out there was approximately 3/8 of an inch left on the pads and my rotors were fine, so basically they were trying to get a job out of me that wasn’t needed yet . Before all of this, when I called sunshine Ford to see if they would honor my extended warranty that I purchased from a Ford dealership on Long Island , because I need a repair on my panoramic sunroof, they told me that they would not honor Allstate extended warranty service. I then called Healey Ford in Goshen and they told me that they would honor my warranty and they will also pick up and drop off and give me a loaner car as well. I would stay away from sunshine ford for reasons mentioned above. :Not honoring extended warranties, PURCHASED FROM A FORD DEALERSHIP. : trying to get unnecessary work from customers Subsequently, they did the same thing with my wife’s Ford edge when she brought it in for an oil change on the same day? They told her that her front axle seal was showing signs of a leak, and the repair price would be $1,495.00 Of course after our experience with them on my truck, we told them NO. We will bring it to a service shop that we can trust. I have a basic knowledge of mechanics. Beware to those who don’t. They will wind up costing you a lot of money out of fear. PS. To be clear, The service employees that my wife and I dealt with were very friendly and respectful, so that wasn’t an issue at all. More
I highly recommend this dealership, I have been a loyal customer for years because of their superior customer service and I always know I am getting the best price. I’ve recently moved to the Newburgh area and have had my vehicle serviced 3 times at Sunshine Ford. My 1st experience wasn’t impressive. I brought the vehicle in for an oil change and was left waiting for o vehicle serviced 3 times at Sunshine Ford. My 1st experience wasn’t impressive. I brought the vehicle in for an oil change and was left waiting for over an hour and a half in the waiting room for a shuttle back home. As a result, I was offered 2 complimentary oil changes. When I brought the vehicle in a 2nd time for a complimentary oil change, I waited half an hour for a shuttle before I made a second request so that I would not be forgotten again. On my 2nd visit they also replaced a front axle and recommended a transmission fluid exchange, which they completed. 3 months later my transmission failed and my vehicle needed to be towed to Sunshine Ford. My vehicle is 5 years old with 85,000 miles. Their notes indicated that the transmission fluid was dirty and contained debris. It took 2 weeks for Sunshine Ford to even diagnose my vehicle. The original estimated time frame was 6-8 weeks. It took 19 weeks! In that time, Sunshine Ford/Ford Motor Company could not accommodate me with a loaner vehicle. They explained that their dealership only offered loaner vehicles to Lincoln. Sunshine Ford/Ford Motor Company would only offer me $30/day toward a rental vehicle for up to 30 days. When the parts finally arrived and Sunshine Ford began the repairs, I requested the left headlight be checked out. I explained that I had replaced the bulb several times and believed the issue may possibly be electrical. They replaced the bulb, which I paid for, and told me the issue was corrected. The very night I finally got my car back, I realized the headlight was out. I left a voicemail for my service advisor, Mr. John Booth, the next day to inform him that my headlight issue was in fact NOT corrected. I then posted a 1 star review and have not heard back from anyone at Sunshine Ford about bringing the vehicle in to correct the issue they said they corrected. Interestingly enough, after my 1 star review, Mr. John Booth, who is the service advisor at Sunshine Ford posted a 5 star review and the Sunshine Ford owner commented back thanking him for the review. This place is a sham! I have yet to redeem the 2nd complimentary oil change and I never will! You couldn’t pay me to bring my car back to Sunshine Ford! I will never buy a Ford again! More
