Bought a GMC Canyon about three to four weeks ago. To my absolute amazement they had none of my information, where totally confused about how I navigated their web page to complete information and said “oh thats on the GM side of things none of that works”? WHAT? I expressed my frustration which they were accommodating and we reworked the deal to my exact previous online process. A simple pick up turned into a 4-5 hour process. This is why I AVOID Dealerships typically. When doing the walk around with my salesman (Noah G.) I pointed out some paint and scratches I noticed. He took pictures and assured me that is would be handled. When I got home I emailed Noah multiple times with zero response, I called speaking to Noah and then two other salesmen who said I would receive calls back when they “spoke to the manager”. NO CALLS back. I also emailed Naoh and Texted Noah the pictures again (same email I sent finances and CDL info to, so I know they get them) with Zero response. This experience could have been simple for me since I had everything completed up front and the small paint and body protection issues that could have been addressed (Protection Package they forced me to buy which Im not sure was even installed and the pieces they did are pealing off after a week). The truck was sitting on the lot when I got there with about a 1” of dust and writing on the windows, it appeared they had not fully processed the vehicle in yet (I checked the VIN and Stock # because it had the options I wanted which is why I don't think they put any protection on it in the haste of getting ready for my purchase). Best to say the experience has been horrible and I don’t recommend them. I have bought so many vehicles over the years because I put high miles (ask my neighbors, haha) on them. Ive even had a new truck in the past break down because of emissions issues a couple miles from a dealer lot and the dealership in NorCal corrected it and handled it professionally.
