Everything was perfect. I took it in for an oil change and a recall. Well a warning light is still lighting up my screen. To check the driver assistance. After 3 1/2 hours we had enough waiting. Francisco did his best to keep us occupied but we were tired of the lack of service by the manager. More

Consumer Warning: Tim Moran Hyundai If you are looking for a vehicle, Run, don’t walk AWAY from Tim Moran Hyundai. Short version: I purchased a car last Saturday and on Monday I had to take it in for for a vehicle, Run, don’t walk AWAY from Tim Moran Hyundai. Short version: I purchased a car last Saturday and on Monday I had to take it in for a check engine light. Service is overwhelmed and fails to communicate at all. The website says they offer a 7 day trade (under their used car assurance program) to show they sell reliable used cars. They didn’t mention this., and when I brought it up they told me I could pick a car from any Tim Moran dealership, but it would create a little more work on their part. It was basically a cancellation of my original contract and we would start fresh with a new contract for the vehicle I purchased. A day or two later it became “at dealers discretion and could only be from the hyundai dealer”. I found a car today(Friday 7/31 which is day 6). It was a certified used Hyundai on their lot and sales manager “R” said they should raise the price. I said unless I buy it, he explained that he had to honor the price listed online after seeing they were raising the price about 3k dollars tomorrow. I finally agreed to pay what they were asking today. The car was taken back to be prepped to drive home. A few minutes later, sales Managers “R” and “M” came to me saying upper management told them they should have called first and the price was going up to 27k so they were losing money. Sales Manager R said they had a “Proposal” for a car that I had turned down 3 times already (to Sales manager M) due to high mileage. They explained that the car being offered was the only car they could offer a deal on and that the deal on the Car I picked was dealer discretion (said more than once as to imply that deal was not an option). While standing outside I told Sales manager “M” that this wasn’t right and asked if Tim Moran cancelled the deal on the car we agreed upon. He said yes and that Tim Moran was the current GM. I test drove the car they offered and was frustrated but reluctantly agreed to buy it because I didn’t feel the original vehicle I purchased was safe. I asked my sales person if the owner of the dealership was a particular guy because I thought he might be married to a previous coworker. She confirmed it wasn’t the same guy and Sales manager “R “ came and asked if I wanted to speak to Tim Moran and I said yes. He offered Monday and I explained I worked. He asked if I had a computer. I said yes but I don’t want to meet on a computer I’m a face to face guy. He claimed that was aggressive and didn’t want to do the deal. He also stated it wasn’t Tim Moran, it was “upper management”. I explained that I thought Tim Moran was somebody married to a former coworker, that why I asked what he looked like. My plan was to call and ask why the deal was changed. I further explained I wasn’t going to throw away a career over a car. He said come on Monday, and meet with sales manager D and Tim Moran. I said no because that is past the 7 day trade that is on the site and explained that I do not trust them. He said I “would be fine”. He then said he was trying to help me and this was “dealer discretion”, I further explained that “at dealers discretion” is not on the site and that I agreed to pay their asking price as of today on their website. He refused to do the deal. I left angry and frustrated. I plan to go Monday and find out what is said, but I do not believe They will honor the trade assurance or the trade we had agreed upon. I am so disappointed in Tim Moran Hyundai for repeatedly failing to hold up what is advertised and agreed upon. Car was listed 7/31 at 24,500 (stock # 503801C ) today it is 27.5k. Deceptive, shady practices. Sales manager R being the worst of them. More
