Supercharged GT Mustang I purchased this car a couple months ago. I loved the car (and still do) but I was hesitant to buy it because the supercharger was not factory installed. So my one deciding factor for the purchase was that I needed a warranty. Once Phil and I agreed on a purchase/trade-in price, I dealt with Scott in finance to complete the deal. I again expressed to him that I needed a warranty and he whipped up what seemed like the best warranty you'd ever get on a 100K mileage used vehicle. 4 years/85 miles warranty on the car AND the supercharger. So I signed the papers and closed the deal. Before I got home, the check engine light came on and a check charging system light. I took it back the next day and left it overnight with Sam in service to fix the engine lights and do a couple minor fixes that were part of my closing deal (cosmetic). When I picked the car up all seemed well but again, before I got home both lights came back on. So the following day I took it back. It was the day before a long holiday weekend so Phil was nice enough to get me a nice (sports car) loaner for the weekend. The 2nd time I got the car back, all ran well. No more check engine or charging system lights. The door panels that they re-glued didn't stick so I ended up gluing them myself. It was probably my fault for not reading all the fine print of the warranty before closing the deal, but when I read through it I realized that it explicitly stated that anything added on after the car was manufactured is not covered under warranty. And any damage that results from modifications are not covered under warranty. So every mod to this car that increased the HP by nearly 200 HP had effectively voided the warranty before I bought it. Now, you be the judge. Why would Scott sell me a 4 year/85,000 mile on a 100K mile car? I firmly believe that he knew it was already voided and he just wanted to close the deal. Phil offered to let me "trade" in the car on another one and found a newer GT Mustang for a test drive. I'd already fell in love with the power of this car so I couldn't justify paying more money for a slower car. So I decided to keep the car without a warranty. This is when Eddie and Natalie got involved. They allowed me to cancel the warranty. I'm still waiting to see the credit towards my finance. Natalie gave me some vouchers for oil changes and tire rotations for the trouble. A little while later I noticed that the car would sputter when it was driven at 4,000 RPM's (I don't usually drive it that hard). I spoke to Lyle who is the Roush specialist (the car has a Roush supercharger). He put me in contact with the dealer who installed the supercharger. They later put me in touch with the original owner of the car (at his discretion) who sold me the tuner that was linked to this car. I reinstalled the custom tune and the car runs great again! Over the past several weeks I haven't had any issues with the car. I absolutely love it. I can't say that my initial purchase was the most pleasant but in the end I have a car that I love and everyone worked hard to see that I was satisfied with the purchase. Phil was super easy to work with. He made sure to follow up with me through the whole process. I'd recommend him to others buying a car. Lyle is knowledgeable about Roush and was super helpful in putting me in contact with the dealer who installed the supercharger. And thanks to Natalie for the additional service plan she gave me as compensation for the trouble. More

I was totally insulted by the attitude of their sales staff. They made no effort to get us the car we wanted but kept trying to sell one they had on the lot. We went to Earl Tindol Ford in Gastonia where Lyle Sturgis is now working. We bought three cars from Lyle in the past at our old dealership and he always treated us with the utmost respect. Lyle works to give you the best options and the car you want. We love our new car and the way we were treated at Earl Tindol Ford. More

By the way that first truck is still on the road with 363,000 "WORKING MILES" and is still my favorite truck. More

Robin, normally in the Subaru department, went out of her way to help me into this great car and really made my first time buying experience actually enjoyable and my inexperience in buying a car was never taken advantage of. I got the payments I wanted at a great interest rate. I've known her about a week and she already feels like family. Gordon, filling in for Robin when she was out, did an excellent job of getting me comfortable in the car and made sure I was able to get a genuine feel of it during my test drive and didn't try to make it short. Now, with Natalie at the helm, she has expanded the product line, added aesthetic improvements and carried on the tradition of providing a delightful experience with each visit.
