Absolute worst dealership in the area buyer beware this company does not stand behind the cars they sell or the warranties they sell along with their junk cars. We bought a very expensive used vehicle on a Friday along with a Platinum coverage warranty the salesman told us the warranty would put us in a rental during any repairs that this warranty covered everything going so far as to tell us it even covered dings to the wheels, chips in the paint anything that if it happened on the road out of town it would even cover hotel stays, over that same weekend we checked the vehicle history and found they sold us a car with open recalls, and there were several discrepancies between the histories we found and the one the dealership presented us as such we waited until the dealership opened again Monday to call to discuss the matter because we no longer felt comfortable considering the recall involved the car throwing a rod through the block, the engine would then ignite and set the cabin of the car on fire and maybe it’s just us but burning to death just didn’t seem like something we were interested in when we set out to purchase a vehicle so we decided we would call first thing Monday morning to return the car. I should also mention the deal was off from jump as not only did they raise the price 1000 dollars saying we had to pay for new tires on the day of sale but even better our purchase order said our car had 20k miles and the car they delivered had 79k miles which if the recall thing wasn’t enough to scare us away the extra four years of driving 60 k miles really made us want to return the car even more than the morbid manufacturer recall yet to be addressed. Monday rolls around we call the dealership to voice our concerns and our intention to return the car and that we intended to purchase another vehicle from them instead, which considering the nature of the recall we felt we were giving them a pretty reasonable opportunity to make up for some questionable dealing on their part to begin with at which time we were informed they would not take back their car that we could trade it and they would buy it back a different price mind you our price went up 1000 dollars and they delivered a car with nearly four times the amount of miles on the car I mean seriously like a car dealer doesn’t know how many miles are on a 35k used Kia let alone any car they take on trade, buy at auction so considering they had the car for a month prior to us buying it they baited and switched us then sold us the good as a manufacturer warranty. Anyway we wanted to return their piece of junk questionable salvage car because we are talking a 60,ooo dollar used car after financing taxes etc so the second most expensive purchase we ever made and they won’t take their piece of crap back when we only put 70 miles on the car when it was in our possession I mean basically it was on a test drive. Anyway they would t take it back and sell us the other car so I guess we got duped and thought we’d take them to court. Come to find out they have an arbitration agreement we tried to go through mediation and after ford did t answer our concerns and Andrew baileys office could t represent us indictable we hired an attorney in Hannibal who stole our paperwork after agreeing to take our case against Tom boland in claims court. So some time passed well so we have the car a year and the more things press on the more we realize their are tons of serious discrepancies with this car we believed it to be a phony and we think from boland ford knew this too and they were trying to pass their problem on to us. Well while going through this our check engine and check suspension lights come on we make an appointment for service at boland ford as they sold us the warranty and taking it there we didn’t have to pay the deductible we get it in to ford and they say they can’t do anything with it after having it a day that we have to take it to a Kia dealership in Quincy which h More

We have purchased three vehicles at Boland. Service has always been good. Only complaint on our last visit was the service writer. I told him the problem and made an appointment to fix it. Instead of fixing it, they diagnosed it and said I needed to make another appointment to fix it. Also, he was somewhat condescending toward us when he told us the price to fix it. I reminded him we had an extended warranty that would cover it. He said he didn’t think it would and hadn’t even checked. He ended up checking and it was covered. So I had to make another appointment and bring it back. He really doesn’t have a good bedside manner, and I would prefer to not deal with him again. More
