From checking in to the check out there was no communication regarding the status of my vehicle unless I engaged to included not discussing delays after being recommend services that were running behind. It’s unfortunate due to this being close to my house and was hoping to make this my new dealership to get serviced. More
Had a great experience with Toyota. They were honest about the cost over the phone and didn't pressure me into extra packages that I didn't need. Drove off the lot same-day. Check in went smooth with the service writer, but the service department totally botched the repairs. My final bill was over $8k and the vehicle still isn’t right. Not only did I have to come back 4 times for the service mgr and GM to get involved, but none of their promises of getting my car fixed properly were honored. Not only did the GM and service manager ensure me that some 23 year tenured master certified technician would be overseeing the project in f my vehicle repairs, but they also told me that my vehicle would be fix d promptly and correctly. My vehicle received several repairs, including but not limited to, the suspension, water pump, 02 sensor, and even a completely new transmission. At the end of the day, that transmission had to be removed and another reinstalled because the first part was defective. I was summoned to pick my vehicle up and the check engine lights and liability issues were still there. Fast-forward to today, I’m sitting in the shop now with tires one side of my vehicle at a 4/32 and both tires on the other side of my vehicle at 7/32 when I came in here less than 4000 miles ago with all the tires at 7/32, which indicates they did some improper suspension work or alignment. The most insulting and shocking part is that the simplest thing like the push pins that hold down the engine covers in place weren’t even reinstalled on the car, which is just pure laziness and lack of efficiency on Khobaib Safi’s (the technician) part. This service department is playing wit people’s time, money, and safety and Toyota’s corporate department needs to know about it. More
