Jonnathan is the best! Notified me of the recommended services I should get, but didn’t pressure me like many places do! Which I appreciate a lot, considering I’m not familiar with cars. Beware! Car stopped running so had it towed and called them. Said they'd check it out and call. After several days a mechanic called me and asked why my car was there and then said they'd look at it seve them. Said they'd check it out and call. After several days a mechanic called me and asked why my car was there and then said they'd look at it several days later I got a call telling me engine wouldn't turn over so I needed a new engine and it would be about $4000 but they'd help me on the price. 6 months later without doing any work service Tech called and told me I needed to pick it up or they'd start charging me storage. I explained they hadn't contacted me in months and hadn't fixed the car. She said she could not release the car until I paid the bill which I didn't know about. She then told me she had my signature on the work order and I told her if she had my signature on a work order I needed a copy of it because I had never been to the shop therefore I had never signed anything. I never heard from them again and never got a copy of the fake work order. I called Toyota corporate office they told me the dealer had submitted repair information that I needed a new transmission and nothing about an engine. I never got an estimate, never got a copy of her supposed work order with my supposed signature and wonder why they told me I needed an engine at $4k but sent the information to corporate I needed new transmission. Car was never fixed. I do NOT recommend taking a vehicle to this dealer as it didn't seem honest to me. Kept car 6 months with no repair, falsely told me they had my signature on a work order and told me i needed one repair and told corporate i needed a different repair. Makes me seriously wonder if they know what they are doing and I am concerned if i was getting the truth on anything. More
Totally unacceptable...Being here with appointment scheduled for 2 hrs and my truck still were I left it... Jonnathan in service is very friendly and well informed of services and costs. When I arrived for my 10am appointment, I mentioned that in was on my lunch break and was going to leave my Tacoma there for of services and costs. When I arrived for my 10am appointment, I mentioned that in was on my lunch break and was going to leave my Tacoma there for an oil/filter change and he took care of me in a very short period of time. I was able to get back to work on time and he followed up with me over the phone to ensure everything I needed was taken care of. My husband and I purchased our very first Toyota back in 2009 (we've only owned Toyota vehicles since) with you and have always serviced our vehicles there, and we have never reviewed your service... but this time it was different and this guy really did go out of his way to provide an amazing service. This place is a joke, my sister took her 4Runner in for a diagnostic, her car had not been driven in a while, so she was concerned about fluids and anything else wrong with the car. Michael was her service advisor, very friendly and told her she had some recalls as well. So later he contacted her to tell her that she needed all the fluids flushed, which she assumed she would need that. Then they said she needs an alternator and new timing belt. They want to charge her $1500 to do the fluids alone!! You have got to be kidding me. She also needs the spark plugs replaced. I understand it needs some stuff done, but they want to charge her for the whole job over $5000!!! And that was them saying with discounts!! Also they have a line item to clean her battery, the battery is brand new, we just put it in today!! They have got to be joking!! She is so upset, I don’t know if it’s because of the area or what, but nobody should be charged these prices!! Unbelievable! I will never recommend this place to anyone!! More

I always receive the best service from Toyota of the Desert! I have purchased five vehicles from Mariposa and have also had them all serviced through the service department there. The service manager Ro Desert! I have purchased five vehicles from Mariposa and have also had them all serviced through the service department there. The service manager Robert is always so kind and makes sure all of the customers are taken care of. Whether it’s routine maintenance or tire replacement they are always quick and efficient. All of The staff is very friendly. The facility is always clean and right now with all that’s going on, the employees are constantly wiping things down, wearing gloves and making sure that everything is as clean as possible. This definitely creates peace of mind. Thank you for always providing excellent service! More

To Call or Not to Call Service department if you drive in, is excellent. Trying to get anyone on the phone is a nightmare, unless you want to schedule an appointment. A couple of months after purchasing a previously owned certified Corolla, one tire popped. Didn't think anything of it, until I purchased another vehicle from this dealership 2 years later, and the same thing happened! Only this time it was on the freeway. The tire absolutely shredded, and I watched it bounce backwards through my rear view mirror. I called the Service Dept, I called the guy who sold me the vehicle, absolutely NOTHING. "It's wear and tear, and we are not responsible. You will have to contact the tire manufacturer." Compare this with my sister's experience at Longo Toyota, where the certified pre-owned cars have BRAND NEW TIRES!! More
