Full disclosure : I signed the contract, so my fault. It was a disheartening day buying from Gosch Toyota. Salesmen are salesmen. They look out for themselves and their profit on a person who once a It was a disheartening day buying from Gosch Toyota. Salesmen are salesmen. They look out for themselves and their profit on a person who once again lost trust in the system of buying a new car. I was offered 20k for my 18 crv and assumed that the remaining money from the buyout would be applied to the rav4 (so far, a great vehicle). I get it, times are different because vehicles are not as available as they once were, so I get the little bit over sticker price. The rav was going for 36k or so online. The sticker price was 33k or so. I was okay paying the 560 a month . I was content with the 2.43 apr. Guess what Gosch did so that they would make cash? I’ll ruin the surprise … they valued the car to nearly 10 k over sticker price ( a few grand of taxes, fees, title ((I get that))!! Long story short , I m too trustworthy;, shouldn’t a cars sticker price, or even online offer, be upheld? And trading in a vehicle that would profit nearly 10k have my vehicle financed closer to 30k and not 40k? Good job Gosch, way to screw over another Joe Schmo trying to trust the dealership. Buyers, keep your guard up always!! More
