Shortcuts are not acceptable for dealer maintenance. BLUF 60000 miles service was a joke of short cuts and attempts at upsales. I brought my 2nd most expensive piece of property to a Toyota service BLUF 60000 miles service was a joke of short cuts and attempts at upsales. I brought my 2nd most expensive piece of property to a Toyota service department to do maintenance specifically because Dealer maintenance is supposed to be the gold standard. I have never had any maintenance done by anyone other than Toyota in the 60000 miles I have owned my 4Runner. Having come in specifically for my 60000 mile service AND having asked for a printout of the 60000 mile service list, I assumed that the service department would feel inclined to actually follow the Toyota documented list. This was not the case and I had to request that portions of the list be followed (I lost confidence in the process so stoped asking for more things from the list be done). I am, as I type this, walking out the door to actually conduct all of the checks and lubrications on the 60000 mile service list because I actually care that this Toyota lasts as long as the brand has a reputation for. I won’t be back to this dealership for service (nor future purchases). I hope this is not a trend in Toyota Service departments but only time will tell. More

The roof of my purchase was not cleaned after i mentioned it N/A. I thought that the unit would have been cleaner.
