The digital assistant scheduling worked well. Jack was effective and well informed. At the dealership I was harassed by Alex Lopez who broke with leadership and sold me a car with a broken windshield, which is against their “policy”. He has hassled me ever since (6months). Management has said the whole time they took care of it, but when he messaged me today (I changed states, he knows I’m setting up a protective order next) they told me that they will just stop me from getting messages. Not Exactly Secure. All the reviews are right. Be careful, and do not give any of their junior sales people personal information. More

I had high hopes when I decided to purchase a vehicle from Toyota of Tri Cities, but my experience quickly turned into a very frustrating ordeal that left me feeling deceived. From the beginning all was from Toyota of Tri Cities, but my experience quickly turned into a very frustrating ordeal that left me feeling deceived. From the beginning all was well in the deposit process until the vehicle we ordered had arrived. We put a deposit on a vehicle that was in transit from the factory, clearly expressing our situation: our son is seriously ill, and we needed to coordinate our pick-up around his health. We specifically mentioned that we had only one weekend available and were assured that the dealership would wait until the following weekend if the car arrived during our absence. Living three plus hours away from the dealership, we relied on their promise to hold our vehicle. We requested to have the car delivered at the beginning of the process and we were declined. Instead, on a Friday afternoon, I received a notification that the car had arrived. The next day, they began discussing our trade-in our Lexus that they offered us far below its actual value in mu opinion. To make matters worse, they pressured us by stating that if we didn’t come in this weekend, there was a very real chance our vehicle would be sold to another person. What was the point of putting down a deposit if they wouldn’t hold the car for us? When I requested delivery of the vehicle again, I was told that wasn’t an option. I felt trapped, without any choice in the matter. We requested the salesperson had me fill out all the paperwork in advance so that I could merely sign and leave the next day. That meant an early morning drive for me, starting at 6:30 AM and arriving to find the gates still closed. Upon arrival, I waited over two hours just to get to the paperwork to signed. The car was available 1-week earlier than the expectations that were set by the dealership. Upon reviewing the trade-in value, which was shared only a day prior (Saturday) to my pick-up, I realized I wasn’t financially prepared to complete the sale, as banks were closed for the weekend. I asked them to wait until Tuesday for me to transfer funds from one bank to another, but suddenly the sales manager’s demeanor turned disrespectful. It felt like I was being treated as if I were trying to scam them! Instead of understanding my situation, they required that I sign a second financing contract, which I immediately agreed to with no hesitation. I request that they add to the contract if the check clears in time and they accidentally file the wrong contract. They will cover any cost of bank charges to change to loan to the expected agreed upon loan. They would not agree to take care of their mistake if they made one until I was ready to walk out the door. As it would happen the dealership made a mistake that I will be financially impacted in a negative mannor. When I expressed my frustration, the sales manager simply told me to go home, claiming they could deliver the car once my check will clear the bank. This was the service I had requested and was previously declined. He said they deliver cars all over the state all of the time. During the paperwork process, the finance manager questioned why I didn’t ask for delivery. If I requested delivery I could of avoided the nearly 10 hour experience I went through. It was infuriating to have a second person ask why I not had if delivered! To add insult to injury, I later realized that our deposit was not credited toward our purchase price, resulting in a higher monthly payment than anticipated. I was so preoccupied with the stress and being held up for 2 hours. I completely missed an event my family had planned and our $900.00 in tickets was wasted. Our very sick son was very disappointed and stressed out because I was not there to take him. All of this because our paperwork wasn’t ready, and the sales manager was too busy arguing with me when I was simply trying to finalize the deal.
