My husband and I purchased a mini van from here and within hours of driving off the lot the Check engine light came on and the van started driving really rough. We felt like we were out of options beca within hours of driving off the lot the Check engine light came on and the van started driving really rough. We felt like we were out of options because the van was sold to us “as-is”. I called the dealership the next morning and explained our situation to Nash, who was just as concerned as we were. Nash took care of the problem almost immediately. He had the van towed back to the dealership the next day and quickly addressed the problem. He was very pleasant to work with throughout the entire process. I value and appreciate his willingness and concern to make things right. Also, shout out to Chris who we initially worked with prior to making our official purchase. He was also patient and pleasant to work with. Overall, I feel that the dealership deserves a 5 star rating. They don't push anything on you. They let you take your time and answer your questions to the best of their knowledge. Most importantly they take pride in what they do and are willing to make things right in circumstances that they don't necessarily have to. Also, this dealership has a wide selection and great prices. More
We tried to contact UDrive USA LLC by phone, leaving voice mails and “contact us” on their website and once by email only to be totally ignored! Twice we were told that we would be called back shortly, voice mails and “contact us” on their website and once by email only to be totally ignored! Twice we were told that we would be called back shortly, they at the auction, the bank, or was on vacation, once the person said, “they would undercoat the vehicle for us!” Over the rust! Buyer Beware, NOT just this small dealer but ALL small dealers! Do Not get ANY vehicle without a Pre-Purchase Inspection from an auto repair shop that you trust, it's for Your protection! Do Not purchase a vehicle “As Is” as we did, it's just a shield that these types of small dealers use, to hide behind, so they don't have to help you! We weren't offered the warranty option! The work that is needed is as follows:- 1. A gas leak 2. The intelligent key system. They offered to get us another set of keys, they couldn't be programmed! A transponder inside is bad! 3. Replace A/C Condenser & both Schrader valves, 4. Steering/Suspension Components Rear Bushings “Rear cradle is extremely rusted.” 5. The front struts and shocks “There is excessive amount of rust on the front and rear suspension, the front struts are falling apart” 6. The front steering components: tie rods, sway bar/links/bushings. "There is an excessive amount of rust on front and rear suspensions." We had a 2nd opinion done, the vehicle “sub-frame and suspension components are heavily rusted and coming apart and, that if they start with one repair it will have a domino effect for other repairs being needed to be done! For example, to remove the gas tank the straps are so rusted that it would even be too dangerous to do a full diagnosis it could damage the fuel and brake lines that are on top of the tank!” Two places are saying the exact same thing! While CARFAX is a great tool, it is just that a tool, but it only reports what is reported to them! There is no way to report these types of problems or damage to them as far as we know! Read this article please, it is extremely informative! https://www.autoauctionmall.com/learning-center/what-wont-a-carfax-report-tell-me So be armed with knowledge! UDrive USA LLC is a CARFAX Advantage Dealer! The CARFAX Advantage™ Dealer Program distinguishes CARFAX-subscribing dealers that are committed to transparency! This what CARFAX advertises, “Avoid buying a car with costly hidden problems by getting a CARFAX Report today.” This hasn't helped us! Our error was believing that the vehicle was mechanically and structurally sound from the dealer, and they were saying that it was “only surface rust!” We purchased the vehicle on 7/27/2023 and the vehicle had passed a Virginia State Safety Inspection on 7/8/2023 with flying marks according to the Safety Inspector! This amount of rust and damage did not happen in a month! We have spent approximately $12,000.00 on this vehicle!!!! We are retired and are on a fixed income, and we cannot afford to be out of a vehicle and this amount of money! Furthermore, we have the paperwork and call logs to back this review up! This title of CARFAX Advantage Dealer has no meaning for this dealership! We finally got a person by using a different # The answer to our question was “No! We won't buy it back from you, it is not an option!” “It is against the Virginia Law to do so! It was fine when we sold it to you!” It is Not against Virginia Law to buy it back! BUYER BE WARNED! The underlying message from UDrive is that both auto repair shops do not know what they are talking about! We contacted the State Police for reassessment! More
I pointed out the 2010 Scion xB was not what they described it as being. They called it a Release Series 7 and having one, I know they misrepresented their claim. They never responded in any way, eit described it as being. They called it a Release Series 7 and having one, I know they misrepresented their claim. They never responded in any way, either thanking me for pointing it out or telling me to mind my own business. For this reason alone, I feel this is a substandard dealer, a xxxxxxx if you will. Describing this car as a more desirable model obviously increases value as Scion built only a certain number of Release Series each year in every model they sold. More
