After 25 years as a diehard Toyota fan (2 Corollas and 2 RAV4's), my wife insisted that I give Valley Honda a chance. My RAV4 lease had expired, and she had recently leased an Accord from Jonathan. She was so impressed with Jonathan, Valley Honda, and her new Accord, that she convinced me consider them. I did some research on the CRV, just to be open minded, but I truly believed that I could not be persuaded to leave Toyota, although the fact that the CRV had tremendous reviews in 2014 made me reconsider my position.
When I walked into Valley Honda, Jonathan just happened to be there and he immediately and enthusiastically greeted my wife. This gesture, and the overall atmosphere of the place, impressed me immediately. I felt welcomed, appreciated and valued. After a few minutes with Jonathan, it was obvious that he loved what he was doing and that he had a great team to back him up. This was particularly impressive since we walked in the door about an hour before closing time, when I would expect much less energy and enthusiasm. He had lined up some CRV options for us very quickly and I was test driving one within minutes. I loved the CRV right from the start, and his knowledge of the line and options was invaluable in helping us decide which way to go. I realized that I had completely forgotten about my RAV4 at some point.
While we were touring the facility, Jonathan talked about the history of the dealership and how lucky he felt to be a part of this team. It was obvious that Valley Honda has a great system in place to provide a great experience to their customers. My wife mentioned that he had called her recently to wish her a happy birthday. Since he had already sold her a car and had no idea that I was in the market, I was very impressed.
Jonathan stayed with us well past closing time and crafted a tremendous deal on a 2014 CRV, fully loaded. Since it was so late, I decided to come back the following night to pick it up. Jonathan walked me through setting up the car with the same energy and enthusiasm he had the night before. This impressed me since he already had my business. Obviously, this is the standard for Valley Honda. I came back a few days later to have options installed, and I was treated exactly the same way by the service team. Seriously, I felt like I was in a Honda commercial and kept expecting to see cameras! This is what car dealerships want you to believe about them. The difference is that Valley Honda actually does it.
