My Review of Valley Honda:
Probably the worst experience ever! After talking with Paul Abudishi or Abadishi (I can't remember the spelling) he coaxed me into coming into the dealership with a super low price. It was easily 400 to 500 lower than any other dealerships quotes. As soon as I arrived I was immediately bombarded with lie after lie. "That car is now available, but I have another one just like it but it has some accessories on it". Or I can order you one and it will be in in 3 or 4 days. After 2 hours of being lied to I finally left without a new car. I finally bought at one of their competitors in Lisle.

Thanks for wasting my time Valley Honda!

My Review of Valley Honda:
This dealer is really the best dealer I've ever dealt with. Their service department does good work, they're fast, they're neat, fairly priced, and have a great lobby to hang out in. Their internet sales process simply is the best and easiest way to get a great deal with no screwing around. I bought a car from Yaseen Ohman via email, and he was completely professional and made the whole experience pleasurable. I got a deal on my Accord better than anyone has listed on any message board I've checked. Frankly, it was my experience with their service on my old Accord that sealed the deal for me in buying a new one.

My Review of Valley Honda:
We have had our 2006 Odyssey serviced twice--oil changes plus tire rotation and recommended 10,000 (I think it was) service. We have been very satisfied with the employees and, while the service prices are higher than if you went to Jiffy Lube or someplace like that, there is comfort in knowing that the dealer will be held responsible if they do something incorrectly, so it's worth a few extra dollars.

My Review of Valley Honda:
In reading the postings on this dealer, I feel it is worth providing my experience so everyone can benefit. Before stepping foot int the dealership, do everything via e-mail: soliciting quotes for the vehicle you want and extended warranties.

Brian was the interent manager in early 2006 when I bought my Accord EX V6 Sedan. When I took delivery I was given to Travis since Brian was promoted. Travis tried to sell me extra nonsense, but I kept saying no. Once he cried "uncle", I was off to see Roxanne in the "special room".

In addition to the car, I bought a Honda Care Warranty since I drive 20k miles/year. (I had a 2002 Nissan Altima 3.5SE with the extened warranty. I paid $550 for the warranty, and had $2,000 worth of electronics damage repaired...all under warranty!) Roxanne quoted me $1400 over the phone several days before our first face-to-face meeting. After a few mouse clicks on Google, a Honda dealer in NH was selling the very same Honda Care warranty for half the price.

Once I was in the "special room", I showed the lower quote to Roxanne and she matched it...no arguments or disputes. I was locked and loaded for battle, but she didn't even challenge the quote.

Overall, Valley is a great dealership if you know exactly what you want. As with all car dealerships, use the right resources and obtain all ammunition BEFORE stepping foot in a dealership.

My Review of Valley Honda:
I have just purchased and taken delivery of a new 2007 Honda CR-V from Valley Honda, Aurora. It was an extremely positive, no hassle experience. The salesperson that helped me was Laurie B. She was great throughout the process, and I would *strongly* recommend that prospective buyers give her a call.

I had initial contact with the sales person, Laurie B, on Tuesday via email, spoke by phone on Wednesday morning, then purchased and took delivery on Wednesday afternoon. I went in to the dealership at 2pm, and drove out in the new car at 5pm (that 3 hours included a test drive, financing, and my chatting with a work colleague who happened to be visiting the showroom).

Both Laurie B and Rose H, the business manager handling the purchase, were efficient, helpful, and candid. I really appreciate those qualities, and that's why I am bothering to write a positive review.

The car is in perfect condition. It was a very recent arrival, and it was made ready for delivery very quickly.

The dealership building is very pleasant and comfortable (I gather it's a recent renovation). My toddler enjoyed playing in their kids' room.

Regarding pricing: I had been in contact with some other dealerships, and, following purchase of the car, I fulfilled my promise to call back to those other dealers to say "sorry, you didn't win my business". When I gave my out-of-the-door price to those other dealers, comments included: "Wow, that's very aggressive", "Watch out, might be storm damaged" (definitely not the case!), "Call me back if you have trouble getting a delivery at that price" (the car is in my garage already, thanks!). Draw your own conclusions. I'm a happy guy.

My Review of Valley Honda:
Came in for warranty service for my new Ody, which requires removing the radiator cover clips and bumpers. Received by Kevin, who is the assistant service manager of this dealer. Very friendly and comprehensive to deal with. Told me that my van will be washed after service. First complaint: when I got my van back, not only they did a SLOPPY job in washing, they did not even dry the roof! Now all that dried water water spots had dried out all over the roof and many portions of the glass, I had to go home and repeat the wash AND had to wax down the whole van. Worse, I opened the hood to inspect what they did, one plastic clip was missing and many of the remaining clips were either loose or badly scratched. Although I called back and called Kevin for this bad service, he sincerely apologized and told me if I can go back and re-do the work/cleaning, which I did, and he made it up to me. All the clips were checked and replaced, plus the van is detailed inside out. But, to my dismay, I still some other vehicles doing the same old sloppy wash and not drying out the roof. Does it take for the owners to complain before they do something? Even with the good response of Kevin to make up for their mistakes, I still will not trust their service department. Will be going for my first oil change soon and I am already thinking NOT to go back to this dealership again.

My Review of Valley Honda:
Same story, different customer: unwanted add-ons and overpricing.

I came in to buy a new Civic coupe with no options except the premium tires. The initial price sheet I received listed about $2500 of overpriced extra add ons, including my tires which were listed at $650, $450 more than what Honda.com lists. After about 3 hours of mostly waiting with the salesman running back and forth between me and the sales manager with new price quotes, the sales manager finally came to me directly and told me that they wouldn't sell me the car without the accessories I didn't want and that they make money by adding these accessories on to the new Civics. If Honda wanted me to have overpriced fog lights on my car, they would have put them on at the factory and included it in the MSRP. I don't live in a swamp you a-hole. I felt like they were trying to rob me. As a consumer, you should ask yourself when was the last time you went somewhere to spend thousands of dollars on something you didn't want? I'm already paying at least $20k for the car, why do they have to nickel and dime me for stupid shit. I even explicitly told them that "I will pay sticker for the car right now, all you have to do to sell the car is take off the accessories" - but the moron wouldn't do it. So if you like being treated like an idiot, I recommend you should buy your car at Valley Honda.

My Review of Valley Honda:
This has to be the best posting I have ever written for any ratings website. Here goes......

We went into Valley Honda to buy a 2006 Accord Coupe - we left with a great price, a steal of a price! Ten minutes after we left, Brian (sales manager) calls to confirm the price and thank us for coming in - ya know, the whole marketing schpeal!

We went to Honda of Lisle to see what they could do with that price. Right when we walked in - it felt right and comfortable. NATALIE was our sales agent - SHE WAS FUN AND ALIVE!

We test drove the exact car we wanted, color and everything. We asked for a price and they came back with something $4,000 more than Valley. She was shocked when we showed her the Valley price. Lisle insisted that there was no way they could get us that car for that price.

We called Valley Honda for a VIN - at that time, Brian went back on his price and said - "wait - what car did you want!?!" He said that they didnt ACTUALLLY have one, but that he could find us one - oh and the price went up from his ORIGINAL QUOTE by $2000. What a joke! Needless to say - the only dealership that had a black Accord coupe was Honda of Lisle - the one we drove!

Long story short - we bought the car with Honda of Lisle from Natalie!

With this type of experience, no one should go through what we went through - skip the BS and go see Natalie at Lisle! Trust me - Im a toughie too!

My Review of Valley Honda:
I agree with all the other reviews about this dealer. I wanted to purchase a car from here as they are sooo close to my home. I went in to their tent (they are remodeling thier showroom) and everyone was hagggling and negotiating. I heard several deals fall apart over a couple hundred dollars. The moment you walk in you see the sales managers sitting there ready to play games. They were not helpful, their cars all have extras and add-ons and the deal that I got after negotiating was still nowhere near the internet price I got from Honda of Lisle.

The only postive I took from the dealership was that the sales guy I worked with was friendly and knowledgeable about the car. I would have liked to done a deal with him, but it all seemed like so much effort.
