This is the last time I do business with van — all over the service! Call to make an appt and tell them I need a rental or my car back by Saturday. She said to drop it off tonight (Monday night) and have a the service! Call to make an appt and tell them I need a rental or my car back by Saturday. She said to drop it off tonight (Monday night) and have an appt scheduled for Tuesday morning, my husband drops it off and gets told “we will get to it when we can get to it” and that’s exactly how we’ve been treated like that the whole time and then told that they didn’t even know I had an appointment or had an urgency to have my car back? Its under warranty— it’s a warranty issue — it’s been diagnosed by that; and not by a technician that took it out to be diagnosed; they had completely cleared it saying nothing was wrong when I asked them then why isn’t my auto shut off shutting off and they had no idea that it wasn’t shutting off and the would need to selenium and redo the process again. So it was not really accessed by a technician to be diagnosed by anything else along the lines of the transmission — ONLY found once I mentioned this issue for the second time. If I wouldn’t have told them they would have told me nothing was wrong with my car, had me pay $200 for “diagnostics fee” even though there was no diagnostics without my information on a very noticeable issue. AFTER my car has been there for 72hrs myhusband had to call back at 1 because he still had not heard from them, to find out that yes there is an issue with the auto shut off and that they will call it in to warranty. I call at 330p that evening and scott informed me he had not called into warranty, still and won’t until tomorrow and I will not have a rental until MONDAY at the soonest. IF I need a vehicle the only option is to come pick up my own and pay $200 even though the diagnostic fee will be covered under my warranty for my warranty issue. Basically — calling and making an apportionment here is absolutely NO different than being a walk in — at this point I’m positive you will only get more preference and help if you are sitting right there. This my second time using service — the first time also being an issue with them telling me there is nothing wrong with my car after the “technician” checked it out and pay the $200 only for me remind them looking into the other issue they had for them to actually find out I needed a whole new transmission. THE ONLY reason I brought it here for second chance was bc the service manager Malik took over my car the last time we were here and made the experience a million times better — the day we picked it up was the day he got promoted to manager and I told him I would bring my car back if I had an issue to support his promotion. Unfortunately I have not been able to speak with Malik and my experience is the same as the first time. More
I waited almost 3 hours for them to do a tire rotation, oil change and replace a tire sensor. They charged me $155 for a tire sensor that will supposedly changed however when I got in the car the service l oil change and replace a tire sensor. They charged me $155 for a tire sensor that will supposedly changed however when I got in the car the service light was still on. When the service advisor seen that I noticed that he came over and said that they had Miss billed me and ended up refunding the $155. He then said that the other three tire sensors were bad however he never said this when they first started working on the car. He said that I would have to replace all four tire sensors however when I came in only one tire sensor was bad. Do they need money so bad that they have to scam their customers like this??? I have had problem after problem going there and I can assure you I will never return there and I would highly highly highly advise you never to go there if you know what's good for you because they will rip you off and treat you like dirt and lie to your face and try and overcharge you for service that they do not provide. ***BUYER BEWARE***BUYER BEWARE***BUYER BEWARE***BUYER BEWARE*** IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A DEALERSHIP WHO DOESN'T VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS, THIS IS THE DEALER FOR YOU. DO NOT PUT MONEY DOWN AS A DEPOSIT BEWARE*** IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A DEALERSHIP WHO DOESN'T VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS, THIS IS THE DEALER FOR YOU. DO NOT PUT MONEY DOWN AS A DEPOSIT BECAUSE IF YOU CALL THE DEAL OFF, YOU WILL BE TOLD THEY TOOK THE VEHICLE OFF THE MARKET AND IT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. NOT ONCE WHEN I MADE THE DOWN PAYMENT WAS IT STATED IT WAS NON-REFUNDABLE. I HAVE PROOF FROM THEIR OWN WEBSITE INDICATING THE VEHICLE WAS STILL VERY MUCH ON THE MARKET WHILE BEING TOLD IT WASN'T. TO TOP IT OFF, THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN WRECKED AND THIS WAS NOT MENTIONED DURING ANY OF OUR INTERACTIONS, I DISCOVERED ON A WEBSITE AFTER I WALKED AWAY FROM THE DEAL. A SIMPLE REFUND WOULD HAVE ADDRESSED THE SITUATION BUT APPARENTLY, THEY ARE GOING TO TRY AND STRONG ARM ME SO THEY MAKE MONEY REGARDLESS. WE WERE TOLD THEY STILL WANTED OUR BUSINESS, DO THEY REALLY? THEY EXPECT THEIR CUSTOMERS TO PAY THEM TO RECONDITION THE VEHICLE FOR SALE TO THE TUNE OF $599. IN ADDITION, THEY WANT THE CONSUMER TO PAY ANOTHER $599 FOR THEM TO COMPLETE THE PAPERWORK REQUIRED IN SELLING A VEHICLE. THE FIRST USED CAR WARRANTY SHOWN TO ME WAS FOR 6 MONTHS AND WAS $899, WHEN QUESTIONED ABOUT A LONGER WARRANTY IT WENT TO A 2 YEAR MINIMUM AT $1999. FINANCING MAKES THEM MONEY, WARRANTIES MAKE THEM MONEY, AND ALL THE FEES CHARGED BECAUSE IT IS A COST OF DOING BUSINESS MAKE THEM MONEY TOO. IF YOU CAN PAY CASH, DO SO AS THE DEALERS DON'T MAKE MONEY THIS WAY EITHER. THEY EVEN REACHED OUT AGAIN AND WHEN I SHARED MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE INDIVIDUAL THEY DROPPED ME LIKE A HOT POTATO. STILL FIGHTING TO GET MY MONEY BACK AND BEING TOLD SOMEONE WILL CALL ME BACK REGARDING THIS. I DOUBT YOU GET A CALLBACK, I KNOW I DIDN'T I HAVE OWNED MANY CARS AND THIS EXPERIENCE LEAVES ONE WITH MANY DOUBTS. I FOR ONE INTEND TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE REGARDING THIS DEALERSHIP WITH ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN AS THIS IS THE ONLY WAY CONSUMERS CAN TRULY STOP POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES. I AM FILING COMPLAINTS WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION, NOT TO MENTION THE STATE THEY DO BUSINESS IN. More

Every time I've called to try to straighten things out, I've been transferred to multiple people because everyone blames the next person. Taylor was my salesperson and absolutely will not lift a finger to help make a happy customer. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT VAN! Find a place that gives a crap about you. More
Great buying experience but that's where it all stops! Had a issue with my paperwork because they failed to fill it out correctly and now can't renew my tags! I've called many times and get getting the same answer thst they are looking into it. They have sent paperwork to old seller and whatever else. Called to talk to the lady in the title department and she couldnt even remember a conversation from 7 days ago she had with me. Now stitting here with expired tags. Crazy thing is NEVER received an apology. Everytime you call and ask to speak with management "they are in a meeting" never available unless you get mad and make them get them on the phone. Unprofessional at its finest! Was supposed to receive a call today but that didn't happen! More
If you value honesty, your time, and your safety, avoid Van Chevrolet at all costs. I drove over 3.5 hours from Northwest Arkansas after speaking with Herschel McWilliams, the Sales Director. He assured Van Chevrolet at all costs. I drove over 3.5 hours from Northwest Arkansas after speaking with Herschel McWilliams, the Sales Director. He assured me the 2022 Tesla was “like new,” saying it was traded in by one of their technicians. I even bought insurance ahead of time to be able to drive it home. When I arrived, the reality was shocking: • The rims were completely scratched. • One tire was dangerously damaged and unsafe to drive. • The car was filthy inside and out. • It had a previous life as a rental vehicle — never disclosed. • It had been in a moderate accident — also never disclosed. Their sales tactics are incredibly shady. Instead of being transparent, they pressured me to put down a credit card deposit, claiming “several people were interested,” just to lock me into the deal. This is NOT how a reputable dealership should operate — especially under the leadership of their Sales Director. Buyers beware. I highly recommend staying far away from Van Chevrolet. More
There is no way these other reviews are correct. We bought a 2011 Chevy equinox, the condition of this vehicle was not disclosed to the dealership when they took ownership of it. We owned it for 2 months. It spent a majority of that time in the shop with them at Van Chevrolet. Derek, the manager was able to get us out of that loan and into a 2025 Chevy trailblazer. The customer service at this dealership is above any we have ever experienced. I do not believe that rating should be able to be made if the customer was simply not able to qualify for the vehicles. Because the customer service at this dealership they go above and beyond. More
Do not waste your time with this business. Dealerships like this are exactly the reason "used car salesmen" get a bad rap. Found a vehicle on TrueCar. We live 40 miles away. Like most - experience started off decent. Asked to take the car and after some strong insisting, was allowed to take the vehicle overnight so my son could drive it and we could get it inspected by an independent disinterested mechanic not a party to the deal. Mechanic did a multi-point inspection and found a left front wheel bearing that needed to be replaced. Liked the vehicle otherwise, came back to make a deal with a request to replace the bearing. Was told the vehicle was inspected by an ASE Certified Mechanic and "it passed inspection" so, no offer to repair the issue would be extended. They would have never even disclosed the serious mechanical issue to me had it not been for my mechanic. They were comfortable letting me just drive off the lot in a vehicle with a known dangerous wheel issue to make their buck. Aside from the salesperson (Dominic) who was cool, the sales manager and above were unprofessional and the quint-essential used car salesman type. No integrity, classless and disingenuous. Steer clear. Plenty of other quality dealerships out there with good inventory, good staff and good intentions. More
I went to Van Cadillac to look at a car I seen online. Megan was our salesperson, she stated the car I wanted to see was in Smithville getting windows tinted. We looked around the lot for xt4 sport Cadilla Megan was our salesperson, she stated the car I wanted to see was in Smithville getting windows tinted. We looked around the lot for xt4 sport Cadillacs. I saw one I really liked so she went in and got the key to unlock it. I sat in the car, started it up and loved it. We went back to her desk and filled out some paperwork. She wanted us to trade in our older xt4 sport. She took the paperwork to Shawn. The three of us w3nt back outside and looked over the car again. When I came in Shawn approached me with his offer in which I declined, he then renogiated and said this is today only price. I accepted the new offer, shook hands and signed paperwork at Megan’s desk. We cleaned out my car, removed my tags and the finance manager came out side and introduced himself while we were transferring everything from my car to our new car.We even set in the car and subscribed to on-star(which had to have the vehicle vin# in order to set us up)Everything’s going fine at this point! We went inside to the finance managers office to finalize the transaction. 3.5 hrs later we were on way home with our new car. We received a phone call 10 min later from Shawn stating we need to come back because we have the wrong key fob(I already have a xt4 so I know how this works, it would have never started the car to begin with)which was in itself suspicious. We came back to the dealership and Shawn met us in the parking lot, stating that this is NOT the car he had been negotiating and that we needed to give him an extra 8000.00. This seems like a bait and switch operation going on at this establishment. We declined obviously and left with our old vehicle. I figured they would call us the next day to give us an explanation as to how this could happen! I find it utterly amazing that 4 people were all on the same car except SHAWN. We never heard a word. I would highly recommend you stay clear of this dealership, there are plenty more Cadillac dealers in the area. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!, More

From the start I mentioned that if a deal was to be done that I would have to have third party mechanic look the truck over before I signed all the papers. I was told by my sales rep this would be fine but they would not likely fix anything based on my mechanics opinion/finding. I said I understood but for my peace of mind I need my mechanic to look it over. After some negotiations we come to an agreement on the monthly payment I was looking for, this is where this experience turns south. Finance manager comes to me to sign the tentative agreement and says to me this deal is for today. I then stated “you mean Monday after my mechanic looks it over”. He says to me “ No, this deal is buy today deal only, I don’t allow my cars be looked at by other mechanics”. I then pull up the text message conversation that I had with sales rep that said I can take the car to my mechanic. He steps away for a min and comes back to me and just speaks very rudely and down to me like I am an idiot. He spoke to me with 0% respect and talked as if I hadn’t been upfront about my intentions the entire time. I am very disappointed in the interaction I had at Van Chevrolet. I was 100% ready to buy since they got me to the monthly payment I was needing. No manager ever called to apologize. I was just told it was a one off incident and it just came down to a miss communication. Would not admit they were in the wrong. Worst customer service experience I have ever had. More
