I brought my 2021 GMC in because the check engine light came on and I received a notification from the GMC app saying there was an emissions issue. When I arrived at the dealer, the advisor told me they w came on and I received a notification from the GMC app saying there was an emissions issue. When I arrived at the dealer, the advisor told me they wouldn't be able to take a look at the truck until the next week.I left the truck at the Vera and was advised about 5 days later that it had been assigned to a tech. I asked if we would get a loaner since we had purchased the best extended warranty GMC had to offer. The advisor said he didn't know. In the mean time I had to rent a car because I needed it for work. I was then told the problem was an exhaust clamp and seal and I had to pay $734.56 out of pocket. I'm no master mechanic but I had a gut feeling that wasn't the issue. I was then also told that the rental wasn't covered because the truck was out of warranty even though we told the advisor we had the top of the line extended warranty from GMC. I then told the advisor I would be picking up the truck because I wanted to get a second opinion from a different dealer. When I went to pick up the truck I noticed two deep scratches on the driver door and one on the left rear passenger door. I notified the advisor and the advisor manager and I was told they would fix the scratches but they couldn't do the job until a week later. I made an appointment and took the truck to get that second opinion from another dealer while I waited for my appointment date with the body shop at Vera. I got to the other dealer and dropped off the truck and received a call the next day telling me they had diagnosed the truck and found the issue. I went to the dealer since I work nearby. At the dealer they advised me what the problem was. So I asked him if the issue was the exhaust clamp and seal like Vera told me and he chuckled and said, "No, changing that will not fix the problem." They also advised me that the warranty I had covered the repairs and also a loaner. So the truck was misdiagnosed at Vera. I almost paid $734.56 for a job that wasn't going to fix the issue, I spent money on a rental unnecessarily, and my truck was scratched. I will not take my truck there anymore for any service. I'll travel a little further for any service or maintenance needed from now on. More

Very bad experience, I dropped off my truck for service and since it's still in warranty they are trying to cut corners. They had it for two weeks and problem wasn't fixed I had to drop it off again and I' and since it's still in warranty they are trying to cut corners.
