This was by far the worst dealership experience I have ever had. I had been shopping for a Chevy Suburban Premier with the entertainment package in Black, White, Green, Dark Gray, or Navy. I found a 20 ever had. I had been shopping for a Chevy Suburban Premier with the entertainment package in Black, White, Green, Dark Gray, or Navy. I found a 2026 Chevy Suburban Premier with the entertainment package listed on the official Chevrolet website for $78,451.43 (taxes and license included). Because of the price, I was ready to move forward even though the vehicle was white. I reached out to Cole at Victorville Chevrolet, someone I had previously done business with. I contacted him on Thursday, November 26, and he told me the vehicle was available but that he couldn't locate the keys. I called again on the 28th of Nov that morning, and he told me that if I came in person, they would "make a deal" and help me out. I asked him multiple times if they would honor the price shown on the official Chevy website. Each time, he avoided answering directly and instead insisted I come down. I clearly told him not to waste my time if they weren't planning to honor the price. He told me to come in, so I left work early, picked up my family, and drove nearly 100 miles--over two hours--to Victorville. It's important to add that I came fully prepared, with the check already issued by my bank and in hand, ready to purchase the vehicle that day. When I arrived, we were greeted by Celine, who was genuinely kind and helpful. She showed us the vehicle, and everything seemed fine until we sat down to talk numbers. She told us the price was approximately $87,000. Another employee came in and explained that the price was higher due to mandatory "forced add-ons" that neither salesperson had control over. At this point, it became clear that the price listed on the Chevy website was not being honored. A manager then came to speak with us--dressed in a three-piece suit and extremely dismissive in attitude--and he insisted the price was $87,000 and pushed me repeatedly to put down $5,000, $10,000, or even $15,000. He said he could only reduce the price by $1,000. After driving hours to this dealership based on assurances that they would work with me, I was extremely disappointed. I chose not to move forward with the purchase. The entire experience felt misleading, unprofessional, and disrespectful of my time, my preparation, and my family. If you are considering purchasing a vehicle, I strongly recommend avoiding this dealership. My experience showed a lack of transparency, poor communication, and a complete unwillingness to honor advertised pricing. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. More
After reading other reviews, looks like THEY’VE DONE THIS TO MULITPLE PEOPLE. I found the truck I wanted on a Wednesday & got preapproved thru my credit union & called the dealership immediately to tell them TO MULITPLE PEOPLE. I found the truck I wanted on a Wednesday & got preapproved thru my credit union & called the dealership immediately to tell them which truck I wanted. They told me it would be ready in a couple of days. Thursday morning they called me & told me the truck would be ready Friday & they asked me to schedule an appointment, so I did for Friday at 10:30am. On Thursday, I went & picked up the money for the truck. I msg’d my sales guy & said is there anything I could do, so they don’t sell the truck. I was willing to put a deposit & start the paperwork over the phone & my sales guy said don’t worry about it, the truck is in the back & I’ll have you in & out within an hour. I told him I was driving from far away & it could take a couple hours to get there. On Friday, I left at 9am for the 10:35 appointment. I msgd my sales guy with the ETA. At 10am my sales guy calls me & says the one of the lights are on back order until Monday. I was pissed. They new since Wednesday that I wanted the truck but they waited until I was almost to the dealership on Friday to tell me. He said we could do the paperwork that day & we can have the truck Monday. I NEEDED the truck before Monday because my son was going to college. THEY TOTALLY BAIT & SWITCHED ME…. But It GETS WORSE! Since we’re almost there, we decided to still proceed with buying the truck. The sales guy got what he wanted. We arrived at the dealership at 10:25. The sales guy chatted us up for an hour & half, without showing us any numbers or the truck. I finally left to get food because we were starving at 11:50am. Then around 12:30, they finally show us the paperwork. The Truck was listed at $23k, then they laid paperwork in front of me for $38k!!!! I was floored!! I got up & told my son we cant do It & I walked out. The sales guy & his coworkers chased me down & after an hour of going back & forth, the price got lower & lower. The sale guy said I would be sooo happy that he got the price down $10k… im not stupid. Getting it down $10k after increasing it $15k in the first place!! I was about to lose my xxxx. at this point we still weren’t able to see the truck. I told them, we need to see the truck, so around 1:30, they finally take us back to see the truck! It was a mess. Door dings, dents & scratches all over it! They had scents hanging to hide whatever smell was in the truck. Needless to say, I was there from 10:30 to 1:30. No Deal. No truck. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. Made the drive for nothing except lies & broken promises. I have bought 8 cars from a dealership & this was the ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! More
