We had a miserable experience with service at this dealership, not once but repeatedly. Not only do they not accept any responsibility for their mistakes nor try to make it right, they are not commun dealership, not once but repeatedly. Not only do they not accept any responsibility for their mistakes nor try to make it right, they are not communicative, and are disrespectful. For a car brand that markets itself as luxury, this service department delivers otherwise. Highly recommend you seek service elsewhere. We had our Volvo shipped here from the overseas delivery program and needed a new bumper - the paint shop used a color that did not match the rest of the car. When we pointed out that it did not match, they first tried to convince us it did and when that did not work, they tried to say paint adheres differently to metal and plastic (which makes no sense since the paint took fine to metal and plastic on the rest of the car). The kicker to this first experience with them was that they damaged our door handle and tried to hide it from us, even trying to delay our arrival to buy them more time to let the paint set hoping we would not notice. Ultimately, we had to leave with the vehicle as is because they said there was nothing they could do. We brought the vehicle back to have damage to the rim repaired under a tire protection warranty. At first, their vendor put on a finish that was matte instead of gloss. When we reached out to have it corrected, the initial response was accusatory that we did something wrong. They begrudgingly had us bring it back to have it done correctly and they shockingly billed the warranty company again. A couple of months later, the clear coat finish their vendor applied started cracking. When we reached out, the service manager included a screenshot of our "anonymous" survey response in the email and told us we would be better serviced somewhere else (they were right, it turns out). We tried to go elsewhere for this issue, but the warranty company made us go back to Midlothian to have it fixed, since their vendor did the initial work. Once we finally heard back from the service manager, Midlothian refused to do anything. We cc'd their GM, who also did nothing. Save yourself the frustration—take your vehicle somewhere else. More

Should you have any questions or concerns thereafter, I highly suggest you speak with Mike, the service writer, at the first level. Should you need further assistance, Mr Dustin Fee is the Service Manager. These individuals have gone the extra mile to ensure that purchasing our new volvo has been an exceptional experience. Let us not forget the Sales Manager, Mr Wally Kwara. We would not be writing these comments had it not been for Mr. Kawara and Mr Jeff McAllister. These two guys made it happen. More

I have purchased two vehicles from this dealership and have always been happy with their service. The staff is super nice, both the sales and service department. Today is no exception. I rushed in at 8 have always been happy with their service. The staff is super nice, both the sales and service department. Today is no exception. I rushed in at 8 am with a tire that was losing air, and I explained I need my vehicle to get to the airport for a flight at noon. Less than an hour later, my car was returned and the tire repaired. Tim definitely went over and above to help me on my way. Highly recommend this place - for new or used vehicles. More

I was told they would take care of it when I came back the next day. Well, then the exterior looked great ut the inside was not touched except he wiped down the insides. They had to take it down to the detailer 3 times and he still didn't get it right. Josh the manager said he vacuumed the trunk but there was still pet hair on the carpet. At least he tried, it's much appreciated. So I give no stars to the detailing! The bad thing is that the manager Josh didn't seem too concerned. So after spending thousands I now have to spend more to ger it properly detailed. More
I trust Mooer's Volvo completely with the maintenance of my vehicle, and have done so for the last seven years since I purchased it from them. The service desk (Mark and Dave) is friendly, professional a of my vehicle, and have done so for the last seven years since I purchased it from them. The service desk (Mark and Dave) is friendly, professional and will only recommend maintenance that is absolutely necessary. My vehicle gets pretty light usage, and when I have taken it in for Volvo-recommended service, they have pushed back on items that did not need to be done at that time. At no point have they asked me to do more than what is absolutely necessary - a refreshing change for a dealer/service desk. More

I love Mooers for so many reasons. Everyone is friendly, easygoing, and prompt to answer questions and help you out, but without being pushy or high-pressure. When my husband and I were in the process of bu easygoing, and prompt to answer questions and help you out, but without being pushy or high-pressure. When my husband and I were in the process of buying a new car back in 2009, the salesman we worked with (Tom Marchese) let the cars speak for themselves, and was incredibly patient as I was my usual indecisive self and (after multiple visits to the dealership) ultimately ended up not deciding on anything. We came back a year later (as I said, I’m indecisive) and Tom remembered us right away; he was understandably amazed when I told him I had finally decided on the car, and helped us through the overseas delivery process (which is surprisingly straightforward). He wanted to hear all about our trip to Sweden when we got back (if you ever have the opportunity to do OSD, DO IT), and then was about as excited as I was when my XC60 FINALLY arrived to the States. (I was emailing him daily with updates about its location as it crossed the ocean.) Since then, I’ve been taken care of by the equally-amazing folks at the service center. Oil changes aren’t a hassle at all - you can hang out in their cushy waiting area, complete with complimentary snacks, TV, and free Wi-fi. I dropped by over the summer without an appointment because of a dead taillight; Mark Mitterer worked me in and I was on my way within twenty minutes. I was just there to get a fuse replaced, and Rob (I think it was Rob) came out to review the invoice with me when everything was done, and then walked me to my car so he could show me where the fuse box located in case I wanted to try fixing it myself in the future. These guys are great. Case in point: while I was waiting for my car yesterday, Mark had to break the news to an older gentleman that he needed a new alternator. Mark patiently explained all of his options to him and answered his questions. He let the customer know what the risks were of waiting on the repair, what would and would not void the warranty, and did all of this without being pushy or pressuring him into making a decision on the spot. He offered to check and see if he could find a used alternator in order to save on the costs, and overall went out of his way to make sure the customer left the dealership in a vehicle that would not leave him stranded on the road, or stranded at the bank. I mention this only because my grandparents were often perceived as an easy target because of their age (never at Mooers, they lived in Canada). I was always appreciative when people took the time to work with my grandparents instead of being brusque or automatically brushing them off – or, even worse, taking an “I know what’s best for you attitude because you’re old” attitude. Mark was respectful, courteous, and treated this gentleman as if he were his own grandfather. I know Volvo's motto is "Volvo For Life," but as far as I'm concerned it should be "Mooers For Life." More
