Sadly I can no longer recommend Walker. Sales/Finance team was GREAT to deal with when buying an almost new truck from them. Took my truck to service department for all oil changes, tire ro Sales/Finance team was GREAT to deal with when buying an almost new truck from them. Took my truck to service department for all oil changes, tire rotations, maintenance, etc. and always had great interactions. 12 months after purchase I was told my rear differential fluid had leaked causing thousands of dollars of damage in which I was asked if I would like to scrap it. Upon a second opinion was told in fact there was no leak at all or metal shavings noted. When I left a message for the service advisor or manager to call me I never heard anything back. Very sad as it had been such a good relationship before. More
We purchased new tires at dealership. Very bad communication and false information given prior to purchase. Same service cheaper at other reputable places. Very bad communication and false information given prior to purchase. Same service cheaper at other reputable places. More
VERY POOR EXPERIENCE I recently scheduled a service visit to have a faulty sensor in my bumper replaced and a front wheel alignment. I was told that there would be a $99.00 charge to diagnose the senso visit to have a faulty sensor in my bumper replaced and a front wheel alignment. I was told that there would be a $99.00 charge to diagnose the sensor problem however it could normally be repaired within the time it takes to diagnose. I was told that there would be an additional charge for the sensor (the bad sensor had visible damage in the front from some type of debris hitting it). Shortly after I left the dealership, I received a call stating that there would be an additional charge of $750.00 because I had a faulty sensor, bad harness and that they need to remove the bumper from the truck for the installation. I refused the service since I knew the sensors could be easily reached from the back of bumper by reaching up and removing. I went into the parts department and purchased a sensor for $70.00 that took me no longer then five minutes to install myself in the parking lot of the dealership, there was nothing wrong with the harness at all. As for the alignment, they refused saying that I needed to buy new tires first then offered to sell me a set for $1,500.00 with a 45,000 mile warranty. I was planning on doing the alignment first then buying tires, which I did at a cost of 975.00 for tires with a 65,000 mile warranty from a national tire dealer. I feel that this dealership is not operating in an ethical manner, and I will not trust them to service my vehicle. More
