Employee(s) Dealt With: Ed Wilson

My Review of West Covina Toyota Scion:
My daughter and I visited multiple dealers on the day we purchased her 2009 Toyota Corolla Sport and Ed Wilson and West Covina Toyota was the best experience of them all. It was a great learning experience for my daughter to see the differences between poor service, mediocre service, and excellent service. I have been in the sales business for over 20 years and know the importance of taking care of the customer. I would refer any of my friends, family, and co-workers to West Covina Toyota if they are looking to purchase a vehicle.

Employee(s) Dealt With: Rosie, Stanley and his manager

My Review of West Covina Toyota Scion:
It is my first time buying a new car, and I am just a college student without much wealth, so I did a lot of research before I go to the dealership to make sure I get a low price. I found out that Toyota has a college student program that offers a $500 rebate for matrix 2009, and also there is an incentive APR for it. I look up cardirect.com and requested quotes through yahoo auto. I knew that all the sales persons were going to lure me to the door without giving me a specific price, so I ignored all their phone calls and tried to just communicate via emails. At the same time, I went to Longo Toyota to test drive the car and tried to negotiate since my parents bought a truck from them. Their sales person was friendly, but I was pretty disappointed by the price they offered me, and they will only give me a $400 rebate instead of $500. The sales person even told me that if I can find a lower price than their price, I don’t need to go back to them.
Then I turned to West Covina Toyota. Their internet manager Rosie is very patient and detail orientated. I didn’t pick up her call at the first time, and she left me a message telling me all the available models and asked me which one I want. She called me again after I replied her, and she told me a very low price on the phone. The price they offered is few hundred dollars lower than the cardirect.com price, and much lower than what Longo Toyota offered me. I was very happy about the price, and it is closed to the invoice price I found online. She checked the college student program and told me that I can get both of the $500 rebate and the incentive APR since they are two different programs offered by Toyota.
When I was in the dealership for the first time, the sales person Stanley and his manager were very friendly. They suggested me different kinds of insurances but never push me to buy them. The manager gave me a discount on the alarm system, but the price of the car was final. Since they didn’t have the color that I want, I didn’t buy it when I was there the first time. Few days later, they contacted me and told me that they can get the car with the color I want from other place. So I finished the paper work, and I am waiting for my new car now =)
In conclusion, this dealership offers good price and its staff are friendly and honest. They are eager to do business with their customer, so check out this dealership if you want to buy a new Toyota. If you are a recent college graduate and about to graduate within 6 months, make sure you mentioned the college graduate program (just google college program Toyota ) to find out more information. It seemed like not many dealers are familiar with this program.

Employee(s) Dealt With: Bob Barfield

My Review of West Covina Toyota Scion:
Bob Barfield at West Covina Toyota was very professional and provided me with excellent communications and customer service, but West Covina Toyota’s price was over $300 higher out-the-door than the Dealership where I purchased the car. But his offer was very reasonable. Bob Barfield at West Covina is courteous, professional and friendly and is willing to work with customers to make them a reasonable and good offer. He gave me his cell phone number and worked closely with me trying to get me the best possible deal. Although I purchased my car elsewhere, I will call West Covina Toyota the next time I’m shopping for a Toyota.
