I have had my CX9 serviced here for more than 5 years and I have always had an excellent experience from the first call all the way through to the end of my service appointment. We would not recommend Westshore Mazda in Tampa Florida to anyone. Our car broke down while on vacation in Florida in July 2023. It was a 2011 Mazda 6. We have owned three Mazda's since 1986 so we went to the local Mazda dealer. The engine on my car had a blown head gasket. Our nightmare began when we wanted to talk to a salesman that was busy with another customer. We were directed to Nicholas Alderson. Nicholas was wanting to know what we needed and we told him and he said oh you have a piece of junk to trade in. Very rude. He was very unprofessional using Gods name in vain. He asked my wife where the xxxx is Ted now, when I had to go to the restroom. I had kidney problems at that time. Mo Fahda was our Finance person. He was the one who told me I was entitled to a military rebate that I had to send a copy of my DD Form 214. After a month and half I had not received my rebate. I inquired to the person who handles rebates her name was Vicky Kerley. She told me she did not have my DD Form 214, so I got her address and sent it to her. This was last of August, I called her and she told me she did receive my DD Form 214 and I was entitled to a rebate. Here it is November and have not received my military rebate. Another problem we had was they overcharged me on my taxes. It took them over a month to return my difference from the date I first notified them of their mistake. They also messed our insurance up. All we wanted to do is switch one car to another. I am 71 and dealt with a lot of dealers and this one is the worst. I would not recommend my worst enemy to Westshore Mazda next time. We also sent a letter to the General Manager and he did not respond. They would not deal with us. Had to pay full price. Salesman did not let us test drive the car. This is the worst car dealer every. Personnel in this dealership is awful. Stay away from this dealership. As of November 21st 2023 we are still having troubles receiving my military rebate. More
I just had our first complimentary oil change (We leased an 2021, Miata MX-5 RF) at 5000 miles. Service advisor "Patrick" , got us our on-time, appointment, while "Roberto" the Mazda Tech, did the oil chan an 2021, Miata MX-5 RF) at 5000 miles. Service advisor "Patrick" , got us our on-time, appointment, while "Roberto" the Mazda Tech, did the oil change and MADE A WALK-AROUND and UNDER CAR SAFETY VIDEO inspection during the process! They send it to your i-phone, waaaay cool ! Everyone working at Westshore Mazda is enthusiastic and in a good mood. While I waited for my MX-5's oil change in the showroom, the Floor Salesmen were "cheering" the arrival of MORE new Mazdas to sell, on a transport Semi-truck that was pulling into the dealership. That's a really good business atmosphere for customers to see. I'll keep coming back to Westshore Mazda, because of that type of attitude and customer care. Good stuff ! More
