My Review of Wilde Pontiac:
Bought a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP from them in August of 2001. Had no problems with the sales part of the experience (was a GMS price deal). Have had few problems with the car, but it did experience an HVAC system failure which made it difficult/impossible to keep the windows defogged. Took it into the dealer, they swore they couldn't find anything. I picked up the car and drove it for 10 minutes and it fogged the windows - drove right back, they made excuses. Left again after the windows cleared, fogged up in 10 minutes, went back to the dealer. Sat around for an hour, trying to talk to the service manager, until he finally relented and sent a tech (Carter) out with me, which resulted in a 5 minute trip with the tech agreeing with me that there was a problem. Asked GM for rental-car reimbursement, since my other GM car was in the shop at the same time and we had no transportation. GM approved, said drop the rental-car receipt off and Wilde would reimburse you. Nearly three months later, after much calling of Pontiac/Pontiac calling the dealership/the Pontiac rep admitting that Wilde had lied to her about "the check being the in the mail", and after I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, I received a check from Wilde. I'll never set foot on their lot again and strongly suggest any potential customer look elsewhere. Worst. Dealer. Experience. Ever.

My Review of Wilde Pontiac:
Bought a 2002 brand new off their lot. Had to bring it in for an antifreeze leak. Service couln't find leak, sent us home. Brought it back again and they still couldn't find leak. Took the car to another Pontiac dealer and they found leaky gasket.
Had car back in the 2nd shop 4 more times for antifreeze leak, in which time the manifold was replaced, and recall was done on gasket.

Battery died after 9 months, replaced.

Wouldn't start right up after shut down, repaired (or so they say. it still doesn't start on 2 sec crank, normal?)

Transmission slipping and misterious 'clinking' from under steering column at 2 years and 44K. In the shop last week after 'check engine' light came on. Mechanics said that misfire code came up and that they couldn't duplicate the problem...."car must have fixed itself". Back in the shop today for slipping tranny and clinking.

Headlamp rattles, bring it in every 2 weeks for them to tighten a screw and give it back to us.

ABS brakes malfunctioned and were repaired.

I posted this review under service but I suppose my issue is with the car in it's entirety, the fact that we were sold a car that had 4 miles on it when we left the lot and was supposed to be flawless.

From 4/02 to present, 6/04
