TL;DR: Wills Toyota is a straight-up scam operation. They sold me a warranty they didn’t understand, lied about starting the ceramic coating just 30 minutes after (which was complete xx—they took 2 months to send me the title), and dragged the nightmare on for 3 months. Avoid these clowns or get burned. AVOID SALES MANAGER RICH JEREZ AT ALL COSTS!!!! — he doesn’t know what he’s selling. Don’t let their friendly attitudes or 4.9-star reviews fool you; they’re still a sleazy car dealership. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wills Toyota is a COMPLETE joke — liars, scammers, and utterly clueless about what they’re selling. I was told the car had a “small mark” on the hood, and when I asked for pictures, they conveniently “forgot” to send them. They insisted it was minor and wouldn’t be noticeable. Total xxxxxxxx. Showed up to find a massive, ugly mark on the hood that they tried to cover up with the absolute worst touch-up paint job I’ve ever seen. It looked like a toddler did it. Then they had the audacity to claim the previous owner was some old man who babied the car. I caught one of their OWN EMPLOYEES ADMITTING the previous owner was a kid. complete lie. When I pointed out the hood damage, they refused to work with me on price and only offered a cheap paint pen to “fix” the damage. Every professional I spoke to said the entire hood would need repainting to fix it properly, which would be around $500. On top of that, I bought an extended warranty sold to me as a 6-year, 100k-mile bumper-to-bumper. The sales manager didn’t even know the details — turns out it was only 4.5 years and 93k miles. They don’t know what they’re selling, and they don’t care. I changed my mind about the ceramic coating within 30 minutes, but the sales manager lied outright when he said they had already started it. The real joke? They took two whole months to send me the title. The ceramic coating was never started on time, and when it was finally done, it was garbage — sloppy and unprofessional. The whole nightmare lasted THREE MONTHS after the sale. Avoid the sales manager RICH JEREZ at all costs — he doesn’t know what he’s selling. Don’t be fooled by their friendly attitudes or the 4.9-star reviews they probably paid for. Wills Toyota is a sleazy car dealership that will lie to your face, waste your time, and leave you frustrated. Save yourself the headache and run far, far away. More
I have had two bad experiences, one in sales and one in service and will never go back. Bad enough to write a review, which I rarely do. In the sales experience, they only addressed my husband even though service and will never go back. Bad enough to write a review, which I rarely do. In the sales experience, they only addressed my husband even though the truck was for me (clearly they didn't realize that). In service, they messed up my appointment even though I called to confirm twice. I took and afternoon off work to get to the appointment (1.5 drive each way) so I got an oil change instead (which I didn't really need) and it took twice as long as they said. Then, they didn't even fix my blinker (I asked them to and they said they would)-- which would have been the one savior of the day. More
Jake Dixon was phenomenal! He worked with me on everything that I wanted and was so patient. Tried to charge me $2,000 over MSRP as a “market adjustment” No other dealers I contacted about ordering this same vehicle even mentioned this. Salesman Jeremy was condescending on the phone and tol adjustment” No other dealers I contacted about ordering this same vehicle even mentioned this. Salesman Jeremy was condescending on the phone and told me “they only like to sell to locals” (I live 2 hrs away) so that the people they sell to bring their cars in to their dealership for service. Feel like they tried to rip me off because I’m female. The other reviews probably had no idea they were getting ripped off. Disgusting More
Every person we encountered was friendly and ready to help us with our questions, before, during, and after the purchasing of our new vehicle. I came in to inquire about trading in my Tacoma and ordering a new Tacoma. The GM/VP Hank simply ignored me 25 minutes went by and I asked the salesperson what is going on, he came back and said Hank i ordering a new Tacoma. The GM/VP Hank simply ignored me 25 minutes went by and I asked the salesperson what is going on, he came back and said Hank is not interested in your Tacoma as a trade but will sell you a new one. I asked please have Hank come out here and talk to me, I was informed Hank could not be bothered and simply ignored me until I left. I originally purchased my Tacoma there and have had it serviced at Wills from day 1. What a smug, arrogant, immature, person running the dealership. I feel sorry for the employees. If this is how he treats a valued customer I can only imagine how he treats his employee's. Also just last week I had my Tacoma serviced for my cruise control, and the oil changed, I purposely kept my wheel lock locked up in my glove compartment with the key in my possession. When I was paying for the service I was told that they had rotated my tires, I thought really I have the wheel lock tool locked up, do they always tell you things they do they they do not do. In fact they told me they updated my transmission, and I said to myself really did they, they did not fix my original cruise control problem which my Tacoma was brought in for, did they update my transmission just like they rotated my tires??? Makes you question their honesty??? More
Absolutely terrible, the most heartless people I’ve ever dealt with. Jake our salesman was so unhelpful and had no interest in helping us. Back story- we bought a used 2010 dodge and were happy for about 2 dealt with. Jake our salesman was so unhelpful and had no interest in helping us. Back story- we bought a used 2010 dodge and were happy for about 2 weeks, 14 days with the truck. Then it wouldn’t start , wouldn’t turn over nothing. Of course they wanted no part in that and Jake gave us the excuses that it’s not their problem to fix. So we had to go through a local shop. 1,000 for a new PCM. Well fast forward to a few small problems we fixed and now we have a new problem that should have been 100% the dealerships problem to fix. Our fob works but the key to manually unlock the door is not cut for this vehicle. My truck has no battery and will not unlock with the fob. Jake made it clear that it was my responsibility to pay to get it cut because I drove off the lot. I highly recommend somewhere else with more generous people. I will be letting my friends and family know about my experience More
