I brought my Cadillac in for repairs and was originally told it would take no more than a week. Unfortunately, that turned out to be completely inaccurate. Not only did the repair stretch out for nearly a told it would take no more than a week. Unfortunately, that turned out to be completely inaccurate. Not only did the repair stretch out for nearly a month, but I had to be the one constantly calling to get updates—not once did anyone reach out to keep me informed. After the first week passed, I was told the car was 'almost ready.' A week later? They tell me they forgot to order a part so it was going to be pushed another week. The following week passes, and I’m informed the part was faulty so they had to reorder the part and had to take everything apart again to redo the work. The third week rolls around and I became frustrated and lost all patience. I had been asking about a loaner vehicle 2 weeks prior and due to the repeated delays, I thought maybe they would make accommodations but their excuse was that they were a small dealership and didn’t have many available. I gave them the benefit of the doubt—until I finally decided to pay an in person visit and demand a car. I wasn’t leaving without one. Magically, I was told a loaner had just come in that day— a fully electric vehicle. I let them know I preferred a gas vehicle, and surprise, they also had a gas one available. So, despite me being on the waiting list for weeks, they had two loaner vehicles and no one ever contacted me. I understand that things can go wrong and delays happen, but the complete lack of communication, the broken promises, and the failure to accommodate a customer who waited patiently for weeks is unacceptable.
