I bought a car from a used car dealership in less than 2 weeks the engine started to steam and smoke on me and eventually t would not turn Thrifty car sales would not help me everytime I would call them, they would tell me they would call me back but they never did, just like they tell other people that they have robbed and sold a lemon too. I had just turned 18 and didn't live with my parents, I had to work everyday so I would use the car to get work until it died on me and starting smoking and steaming a week after I bought it then it would not start after 2 weeks of owning it. I called the store and told them what happened and they finally told me to bring it in and I had to pay 160 to tow it. I got there and they kept telling me to wait and I went outside because I yelled at the manager for not helping me sooner and he told me to wait outside. then a mechanic followed me out an kept yelling at me to leave when i could not because my car was broken then he gets in my face and is yelling slurs at me like “xxxxxx’ and ‘xxxxxx” and stated "im going to xxxxing kill you and bury you, im going to dump your body in those xxxxing trashcans'" and then pushed me hard twice and I was waiting to have surgey on my dominate arm because because it was in so much constant pain I couldn not move it so i pulled out my small 2 inch blade pocketknife because I felt threatened and scared for my life because of how he was treating me and threatening me I am disabled and he is twice my size and age then he grabbed my wrist when I was trying to put my knife away because I saw that it did not make him was to disengage in any conflict with me and he wanted it with me and then he made me cut myself then chased my and pinned me against a car a choked me and punched me while my wrist is squirting out blood. Police were called by the business and myself and when the cops showed up about 5 cars pulled up fast and hopped out with their guns pointed at me making me feel like a criminal and they made me lay on the burning hot pavement while nothing happened to the mechanic who attacked me because he did not want to fix my car. The police took me to a holding cell and I had to wait to be released. After they canceled my deal and said the credit bureau did not want to do my deal anymore and canceled it and forced me to resign a new deal and said if I didnt they would only give me 1,500 of the 6,000 and trade in car I gave them. They were trying to sell my resell my car there was even some lady and her daughter sitting in it checking it out the day I had to go re sign so I didn't lose more. Later I just could not end up getting the situation out of my head and I hated the car because of all of the problems and stress going to thrifty car sales brought into my life it is still hard to talk about it to this day especially because I've never gotten any help for the situation they have screwed over so many people thats why they only do businesses by appointments now in a tiny garage that they live in. their insurance needs to look into how much fraud they have committed over the years, I have proof that the committed insurance fraud, I was having a bad day in the rain withe the mustang that I hated the car was starting to have a problem accelerating and I was trying to see why and I lost control and spun out and and crashed and totaled the car and the police came and made a report of it. Thrifty car sales told me he would “ help me” and told me to pay a thousand dollars and he will claim that the accident happened during a test drive and then they sent a tow truck to pick it up and I never saw it again and was left with nothing but 1,500 “credit” at a dealership of his choice. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COST!!!!!!!!!

We did a trade and purchase. This dealership has NOT paid off the vehicle in their possession. It’s been 4 months. They are now no longer answering calls, website is down and no where to be found. So I’m making 2 car payments, paying insurance on 2 cars and I’m pissed!!!! Meeting with attorneys tomorrow.

I viewed the ratings here before visiting the dealership. So, I was prepared for the worst. My experience however was far from that. Unfortunately for the dealership I didn't purchase from them - partially due to these reviews. The vehicle I looked at was priced great! I couldn't find an issue with it at all. You might say it was too good... so that combined with the poor reviews kept my wallet in my pocket. Also they did tell me they were charging $600 for the windows tinting on the vehicle, which is WAY too high and a ridiculous markup anyway. But I want to see the good in people and maybe, just maybe, this dealership is trying to rebrand itself. The young salesman I delt with was courteous and professional and seemed genuinely interested in trying to get me into the vehicle I was looking at. But they did break out the '4-square' worksheet which a little online research will tell you to walk away from if the salespeople bring it out... So maybe they have some room for improvement. But again, my experience there was nothing like I expected. Give them a chance.

Darin and the office staff were great. However, three months after trading my truck in, Shane Beus (the owner) had STILL not paid off the trade in. No explanation or communication from him on why. Turned into the most unprofessional and unethical business deal I've ever been part of. Wasn't just the games being played with not paying off the trade in, it was the complete lack of respect and integrity. I continued to pay on a truck 3 months after they took possession of it, and then they listed it for sale when they hadn't even got the title from the lien holder yet. Consumer fraud, breach of contract... call it what you will, it was a terrible experience.

Beware of very shady operations. Illegally repossessed my vehicle when all payments were made early and actually paid over what was due on the bi-weekly payments. After not doing the paperwork correctly and asking things of me that I was unable to provide which they should have known because this is their line of business they're now holding my car Ransom demanding I sign a rewritten contract of course changing the payments and everything else about the deal. The only thing Annie the sales girl cared about was getting her commission check and getting out of the office as early as possible and rushing everything through. And she not been in such a rush maybe we wouldn't be in this situation. I've called numerous times to try and straighten this out with no response from the general manager. The finance company sent the general manager an email telling him to return my vehicle immediately but he is not doing so. Credit security acceptance was not even aware that he proceeded with this repossession and made it very clear that they had nothing to do with it. They advised me to speak to an attorney about the general managers actions and wanted to make it clear that they had nothing to do with it.

I have been buying cars from this company for 20 trs and the service has gone downhill. I bought a car within te last 6 months that had to go in te shop 4 tiimes in that time frame. One of the times it was a 2 week timeframe after I had just bought the car becsue they were trying to put a band aid on something and not actually go out and get the part. The service manager is very rude and doesnt car. he kind of tells you oh well. The most recent incident was this week when my key faub died and I went to replace battery only to find out they never gave me a key from the key faub. I tell them and they blmae it on me saying basically oh well. I had to pay $135 out of my pockect when if I would have the key in the first place that woud never have happened. All asked was for a reibursment or taken off my bill and i was told no. This was not my fault by any means and I was told it was. I just want a refund I dont have an extra $135 to spend when this wast my fault. I am very upset I have been a VIP customer and this is how I am treated.I would like this fixed.

DO NOT PURCHASE witout having the vehicle checked out by a professional mechanic. 2004 chevy colorado purchased with no parking brake, failing power steering pump, fried brake rotors, headlight falling out, missing air box ( air filter held in with set screw), automatic door locks not working and check engine light disabled. $1800 worth of issues to be repairs. The owner never onced spoke with my over the phone or at the store. Repairs denied, truck returned. Mario is a great salemans just works for a horrible owner. This place should be shut down.

Our vehicle was declared "total loss" in accident so had to rent a vehicle. Miranda, at speedway enterprise rental office mentioned that their car sales dealership had great buys on low mileage vehicles. Just went to look and ended up buying a 2015 MKZ. Vehicle had more mileage than we planned on, but a very nice & new looking sedan for a great price. Great buying experience at this dealership!! Thanks Miranda, Tim & Mark.

Update as of 7/8/2024 This place has seized all contact with me. I have already contacted the DMV and they are initiating an investigation into this place. I am also in the process of contacting their Surety Bond issuer and filing a claim for failure to fulfill obligations. All this could be avoided if the company pays me the roughly $3k they owe me in car payments and fulfilling their end of the contract and paying off the trade-in vehicle. If you are reading this review and have purchased a White 2021 Honda Accord Touring from this place between December and now, please contact me as I am filling a stolen vehicle report and do not want this to further affect you. Update as of 6/26/2024 This place has refused to answer my calls or emails and also reimburse me for the trade off vehicle they still have not payed off. Update as of 5/22/2024 The person i have been dealing with (Jessica) is sporadic in answering calls or email. They have not replied to my emails requesting reimbursement for this months car payment that they still have yet to pay off. I have filed a complaint with the Arizona AG, AZDOT and am in the process of filling a police report for a stolen vehicle since in essence, that's what they have done with the vehicle they have refused to pay off. AVOID THIS PLACE! Update as of 3/27/2024: The person I have had the only contact with at the dealership (Saraya) has deleted her email account and will not answer the phone. Still no payoff on the trade in. I also received a letter from the extended warranty I got through the dealership that they will be canceling the warranty due to not receiving payment from the dealership. On 12/10/2023 I purchased a used 2020 Mustang GT from Arizona Specialty Motors. In doing so, I traded in my car at the time, a 2021 Honda Accord. I was instructed to cancel any additional warranties the Honda had so that they could pay off the vehicle and complete the transaction. I did so and provided proof of cancellation by email to the finance manager (Dana) in which I received no reply to. I was able to reach them by phone a week later and was told the pay off check was sent out. As of today (2/23/2024) the Honda remains on my credit report and has not been paid off. Any attempt I have made to contact this business have been difficult as the phones are never answered and emails are rarely replied to. I was told on one of the rare occasions by an employee in the finance department (Saraya) that they would Zelle me any money I would spend on paying off the monthly car payment for the Honda. I find this highly unlikely but have already made two payments on the Honda since 12/10/2023. I just want my trade in paid off and to be refunded for all additional payments I’ve had to make in order to preserve my credit history and so that I can be done with this horrible business.

I went to look at crew cab trucks test drove a dodge 1500 though Dennis let me know it was only a v6 which would not pull the weight of the RV so he ask me to give him a few days so i did within 3 to 4 days Dennis called me with a 2015 Dodge 1500 with a hemi that would pull what I want it to I bought it found it had a couple small Issues that needed attention like the drivers head light leaked and the fog lights didn't work they took care of that for me I also ask about runners so I bought the runners and they put them on for a decent price Dennis is a great Guy to work with it was all pretty smooth Thank you Dennis

Buyer Beware! Apparently "out the door" pricing means something different here. We negotiated an "out the door" price but when we sat down to sign paperwork that amount was $5,000 higher than what was negotiated. Basically, they don't honor their own verbal agreement and they absolutely refuse to come down off of the listed "no haggle internet price". Then there is the financing. I had my own financing but they said they could get me a better rate so I let them do in house financing, ended up with almost 2% higher interest rate on a loan for 2 years longer than what I had from my bank! Would never do business here again!
