Purchase of used truck - Mike M

Purchased a 2016 ram 1500 4x4 Laramie from Braun Chrysler, dodge, Jeep, ram dealer. From start to finish the experience was pleasant. Tiffany freeman was my salesperson and was awesome.if your looking for a dealership that don’t pressure you, follow you around, breathe down your neck and insist on riding with you on your test drive then Braun is the place. After test driving the truck I fell in love with it and bought it .i read another review on a upset customer that purchased a 2016 ram that was supposedly upset with problems with the truck well then you shouldn’t of bought it or drove it to someone you trusted to Check it out like I did before purchasing it. Tiffany didn’t pressure me and told me take my time which I did. Very professional,excellent customer service and ethical business establishment. Would recommend to anyone looking to for a vehicle to go here and see Tiffany. Thanks again for being an honest, no pressure fair dealership. I’m not one to write reviews but had to on the wonderful experience I had at Braun. Thank you again for being a great salesperson Tiffany, I will come back here for any vehicle needs in the future.

Not sure about buying a car here but avoid this service department at all costs. This was a good place years ago but here are my last 4 interactions. My last visit here was to get my lifetime warranty 5 yr check up. The check up was somehow performed and they missed 3 leaks. They sent my wife home and the next day while driving all the coolant was gone. A front receiver that they installed had rubbed through the lower radiator hose. There was a leak before the truck went to Hiday as there was a stain in my driveway where the truck was parked the day before having it inspected. They also missed 2 pinion seals were leaking that also needed to be replaced. Needless to say I had to have my car towed to a dealership close by that fixed everything Hiday failed to notice. I called Mike, our Hiday service advisor and he sat on this issue for over a week before discussing this issue with Brett who is the owner or GM. In any event when I called i got Brentt on the phone who laughed at me a little before transferring me to Mike who declined all responsibility for the issues they themselves caused. Apparently he and Brett were talking about how this was not their problem right before my call. They installed the receiver incorrectly and never accounted for proximity to the hose, they failed to notice the leaks they were supposed to be inspecting for and somehow its my problem. Separate vehicle, I noticed coolant in my garage so I brought the car in to get looked at. Again I have a lifetime warranty so they attributed the leak to a transmission cooler leak. They took off my front clip and replaced the cooler. When I got home, the front is was left hanging off in several spots. I had to drive back to have the clip reconnected. Once parked the leak was still there. I brought the car to another dealership where they said the radiator seams were leaking. They replaced radiator problem solved. Again a conversation with Mike resulted in a not our fault attitude in which he said the radiator must have coincidentally started leaking right after his shop fixed the other leak. In addition, when I opened my hood to check their work, on the engine was a plug for the transmission fluid. They never even replaced the fill tube plug on the unnecessary work they had just performed. I had brakes checked on my truck, I complained of pulling and pulse. They said I had a frozen caliper up front. They did over a thousand in brake work, pads rotors and a new calipers. Once again tool my car home and noticed my e brake didn't work. Both back brakes were shot. They never even told me. I ended up having to get my rear brakes done too as they completely failed to do the work asked of them and do it right the first time. I had them fix a leaking transmission cooler on my truck, they sent me down the road and 2 days later while driving a dark highway my tach shot up to 5000 as the transmission was no longer involved. Tbe line they connected popped off leaving my transmission empty of all fluid. When it was towed back to Hiday, Mike was nice enough to tell me that they didn't have the correct tool to attach the line and thought it would hold. In the end you will be frustrated with return trips to fix what they miss the first time.. Improper diagnosis to bill highest cost warranty work to mopar, substandard quality of work, and a list of excuses from Mike when it all falls apart. Stay very clear of these dishonest people.

Worst dealership experience I've ever had. - Heather M

Worst dealership experience I've ever had. The salesman we worked with knew very little about any question we asked. I, as a female and in an office position, knew more about the particular vehicle than the young man. His response was simply "I'm not sure" and never asked other individuals to provide us with a true answer. I specifically asked if the vehicle had two keys (it was used) before we even got in for a test drive. After looking at the tag on the key, he said he'd find out. When we returned from the drive and were back in his cubicle, I followed up and surprise surprise he hadn't found out. While agreeing to a price I asked for the 3rd time about the key and he stated he would see as he handed us off to the finance guy. While dealing with finance, our salesman NEVER returned with the key info and unfortunately while dealing with the numbers and signatures I failed to ask the 4th time. Needless to say, I end up with a vehicle that only had one key and they offered NO assistance in getting one. Simply told I would need to talk to the parts department and it would be another $400-$500 I would need to spend. This particular vehicle was purchased brand new from Hobson, that owner had it serviced and Hobson and they was traded-in at Hobson. There is no reason a 2nd key, which is standard, counldn't be provided. Or at least offered something off the price of a new one. Instead I was basically shrugged off and given a vehicle that wasn't detailed when I drove off the lot. They swore up and down that it was, but my 7yr old nephew would have done a better job wiping down the interior. The same salesman that was useless for lack of better wording, also shook our hands and said he couldn't offer all weather floor mats, but would be sure we had a full tank of gas. Surprise again....we received a half tank. When we questioned this, we were told that policy is that used vehicles only get a half tank. That's fine, but your salesman said a full tank. You should honor what you say. Also, this salesman never so much as touched the door handle of the vehicle to show me anything in or on the car. Never explained features or components. None the less, I will NEVER return to Hobson and tell everyone looking to stay clear as well. My family purchased a similar vehicle just 2 weeks prior from another dealership and the treatment couldn't have been more polar opposite. Terrible knowledge. Terrible salesman. Terrible customer service. STAY AWAY!

I took my car into be serviced. Was charged for a fix. Went back to get the car, it wasn't fixed. Caught an attitude from them. They couldn't figure out the issue, and I didn't get any money back.

I am posting the following on behalf of my mother and stepfather who aren't in the habit of posting reviews online, but they wanted to warn others to stay away from Sullivan Auto Group. I would give this dealership zero stars if I could. "We purchased the camper from them and the morning we picked it up a tire delivery truck backed into it. We were told the repairs could be made closer to our home because we live about 4.5 hours away from the dealership. Every 2 to 3 weeks after that we would call to find out what was going on. In July the repair shop in Springfield, Illinois, finally got the wrong parts. They tried repeatedly to contact Lena Fox (service manager) at Sullivan Auto Group, but they couldn’t get her to respond. We kept calling and kept getting the runaround. In September 2017, we made an appointment to have the camper winterized on Oct. 23, 2017, and again asked if they had the parts needed to fix the original damage. We were told they would get it done. They have had the camper on their property since Oct. 23, 2017, and are telling us they don’t have the parts but 'are doing everything as fast as they can.' We think 11 months is completely unacceptable by anyone’s standards!" Bottom line: If you are looking to buy a camper, avoid this dealership. My folks have spent the first year of their retirement fighting with this company to get them to stick to their warranty.
