Avoid This Dealership – Major Issues with My Purchase! I recently bought a Nissan from Lafayette Volkswagen, haven't had it for 24 hours, I discovered a serious transmission problem. Despite my excitement about the purchase, I was devastated to find that the car was not functioning properly. I contacted the dealership for assistance but received little to no help. Now I have had this car in the shop since last week needing to replace the transmission and I don't even know if it will be covered under the warranty, I'm praying and hoping it will be if not I'm out of a car and still have to pay for it. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I would advise potential buyers to think twice before making a purchase here. **UPDATE AS OF 6/4-- 3 weeks in shop and still nothing is being done. Warranty is not covering the transmission bc they said it's pre-existing issue and it's now the dealership deal. Now waiting on them to come up with a plan.

Everything went well,after we decided to make this purchase we were told only one Key Fob came with the car. Now we will be out an additional $500. Not very good service. They could make one cheaper than that.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Volkswagen of Clarksville has been so frustrating that I feel compelled to warn others. I brought my vehicle in for a recurring issue that should be covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Not only has the dealership failed to fix the problem after multiple visits, but now they’re trying to charge me for a repair that’s clearly still under warranty. At this point, I don’t know if it’s incompetence or outright dishonesty, but either way, it’s unacceptable. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere unless you want the headache of chasing basic accountability.

We drove over 250 miles round trip to look at our new car. Bob Schell was our sales specialist. He was one of the nicest people I have ever dealt with when purchasing a vehicle. It was truly a pleasure working with him. The entire experience at Gurley Leep Motorwerks was exceptional. We would definitely do it all over again next time we are in the market for another vehicle.

5/21/25 I worked with Bobby on a new 24’Tiguan over the phone with a trade that I provide pics and all the information. We agreed on a price for the trade and new car. I drove down the next day and made the purchase. One of the easiest dealerships I have worked with over the years. I was in and out quickly as promised and they even honored all the providing we discussed without trying to add in any additional fees. I would definitely buy another vehicle from them in the future.
