Cannot schedule an oil change? - philosopherforhire

Cannot schedule an oil change? so you don't know if it will take you 1/2 an hour or 4 hours. Means you will need to alot an entire day for an oil change. Two oil changes on my RAM and they are not thorough in service, don't check other fluids etc. Impossible to schedule a service. Tried to schedule a recall service and they initially only had dates 3 weeks out, so I had to check my calendar. called them back and they routed me through two other people then the call went to voice mail. It's like they don't want to service my vehicle. Truth is since they are the only dealer for RAM trucks in the area there is no competition so it's not important to them to provide me with good service.

Worst service department ever. - Mgpclean

Worst service department ever. My F150 was going nuts shifting up and down while the dash was flashing everything. A couple years earlier the service manager talked me into an additive for brakes, steering, transmission and rear end that had repair warranty. Witham service told me I needed a transmission rebuild, brake rebuild and steering sector rebuild. At least they gave me a loaner because it was in the shop for 4 weeks. When they called to say it was ready and had been road tested I went to pick it up. The additive company only covered 1/3 of what was earlier promised because Witham had incorrectly made out the application. First drive off the lot got me 3 blocks before it did exactly the same thing. Went back and they claimed the trans kit must have been faulty. Will rebuild. 2 more weeks in shop and the call came telling me, by the way we had to replace the computer chip too. $6,000 out of pocket but it ran. Took it to another mechanic for an oil change 1 week later. When I picked it up he told me 1 bolt had fallen out a brake caliper and the rest were loose. Also the pads had been changed without replacing the rotors just flipping them over. He also noted no one had touched the steering that was claimed to be repaired. Of course Witham denied wrongdoing and refused to go back to the additive company.

DO NOT USE!!!! UNSCRUPULOUS. Had my car 2 weeks. Never fixed original problem. Left me afoot, after they said car was repaired. Added additional. Items to repair!!

The 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage that I won on Let's Make a Deal was towed here when it broke down on I-80. The service advisor, Chris E., knew it was important for my car to be fixed asap so I could get home to Chicago. The mechanic, Robert, showed me the problem with my car. He and Chris had the part it needed express overnight shipped and Rocky drove me to my brother's house in Gretna, NE. Rocky was so pleasant! He offered to pick me up the next day when the repair was complete, but I declined. When I arrived the next morning, all three of them greeted me warmly. Robert fixed my car as soon as the part arrived and let me know that he had done a thorough test drive locally and on the interstate to make sure everything was fine and I would get home safely. In the midst of what could have been an awful situation, I was blessed that Roadside Assistance chose to tow my car to Edwards in Council Bluffs!

We came about an hour early before a scheduled appointment Brant greeted us right away I was firm with my needs and what I wanted. I said I wasn't buying a red car well...I bought a red car! He made the whole process so easy and kept me in good spirits. Thank you Brant we will be back.

If you care about your car and expect it returned to in the same condition you dropped it off you will be sorely disappointed, I know I was. I dropped my 335i off for two new tires and the used car sales manager - David Nixon - informed me his wheel guy owed him a favor for some work he had been sending his way lately and offered to refurb the front two wheels free of charge. Too good to be true? Turns out it was. When I went to pick up my car it was sitting outside with the doors unlocked, convenient for me to drop off my brief case before going in but incredibly stupid. So lets call that strike one. When I went to get back in the car I notice that the door sill and kick plate looks like someone had dragged dirty boots across its about 100x leaving permanent scratches to both the paint and plastic. The floor was also dirty but that is easily fixed with a quick cleaning of the floor mat. the wood on the center console was scratched and covered in a fine dust probably from the wheel paint / refurbishment. The radio had been messed with and finally it looks like someone had a drink in the cup holder and spilled on the center console. Lets bundle that all up and call it strike two. I pointed it out these issues to the service advisor - Linda Cramer - who in her defense apologized and offered to have it cleaned up. They were ablo to clean up the car to a certain point.... the dust and dirt were gone but the scratching and damage is permanent. When I got home I took a closer look all around the car and found that at some point in the day someone had scratched and nicked the drives door edge in two places and was a new door ding. lets call that strike three. Overall the response and accountability shown by BMW of Des Moines is the worst I have ever experienced. My car received more damage in one day then it has in the previous 3+ years. Its a shame because I truly love my car but cant hardly stomach the thought of ever having to return there for service again in the future.
