I would give zero stars if possible. - mindy1775
I would give zero stars if possible. Consumers beware. Do not use the service department. They overcharge and are dishonest about repairs provided. I had an alternator and belt replacement done costing over 1,600. 00 dollars. 5 months later traveling out of state vehicle alerts to stop and turn off vehicle immediately. It was towed to the near by dealership which turned out to be a real blessing. We told them the alternator was just installed in Dec 24 and should still be under warranty. They went to change the alternator and found out that it was an O Reilly alternator that was also a rebuild. Even though our paperwork said it was a gm alternator. They were unable to honor the warranty for this reason. So they replaced the alternator and belt with gm parts for just over 1,100 dollars. So basically we were charged an extra 500 dollars from Neil Huffman for the same work and for a rebuilt alternator that was not a gm part even though that was what the paperwork said. We spoke with manager and received back over 1300 dollars for the "mistake". The insisted on use still paying 1.5 hrs for diagnostics. Even though my husband was stuck on side of road, in unsafe area, for over 1.5 hrs and had trip interruption on way to out of state graduation . How absurd that they felt they were still deserving of 1.5 hrs of diagnostics. They assured me this never happens but you would never know unless you were blessed enough to go to a very honest dealership service department. They couldn't even give the 100 % refund, embarrassing. Do not ever assume they are being honest with you or your family.
