Extremely satisfied with them. I decided to take my Chevy truck there for repairs after deer accident. The truck came back better than it was pre accident. The gm dealer in town has done half the quality of work previously.

I can't express strongly enough to STAY AWAY! This is a long story, so I'll just hit the highlights. Quite some time ago, I was shopping for a used SUV. I had CASH in hand. I was looking over one at Moron er, Moran I was interested in. The sales guy slowly walks over, looked at me and said, and I quote "You can't afford this car." I vowed to never step foot on their lot again. However, recently I needed some warranty work done (purchased at another dealership of course) and jumped throuogh their hoops to get an appointment. The work was assessed, parts ordered and the job started. Several days into a job that was supposed to take 2 days, they gave me some story about it needing paint and it will be ready tomorrow afternoon. Several days later, I called for an update and was told the car was waiting to go for painting. Obviously someone was lying. When I finally went to pick it up, i noticed a HUGE SCRATCH. They tried telling me "It must have been there when you brought it in." It was NOT. Then they said, it must have happened when the part failed then. Then it sould be included under warranty, FIX IT. They basically refused and only buffed it out. It was too deep for that, but that was all they would do. There is much more to the story, such as the manager literally yelling at me and calling me a liar, accusing ME of trying to cheat them! I finally just walked away before completely losing my temper and ending up in jail. I will NEVER, EVER, do business with ANY of the SEVERAL dealerships Moran owns. I suggest that You stay away from these lying, cheating, miserable SOBs too. Tell all your friends too.

My Onstar service diagnostics reported that an engine service light is on and needs attention. I went to a local car repair shop to see if they could help with that and was told by them that the engine light diagnostics is reporting that an EVAP (evaporator-emissions vent system performance is failing. The repair shop said that there is a couple of emissions parts that may have failed and that the car is still under warranty until 2026. My car is a Chevy Trax 2016. They also said that GM will check and will install the part and that I will not have to pay anything for the part because still covered until 2026. So I took the car to Moran Chevrolet on 09-27-2024. The Service Advisor-Matt Burke told me that they will run diagnostic check and if part is covered under warranty then no charge but if not then there ill be a charge of $210.00. I had to leave my car there the whole entire day to have the work done. At the end of the day at 5:30pm I get a call from Matt Burke stating that the part cost $279 and the labor cost $671= $940.99. I was overwhelmed by the massive cost for this service done today!!! Not happy! Very upset! I also confronted the Service Manager afterwards of the HUGE price gouge of the labor. This car with the under 60,0 miles and still 2 years under the 10 year warranty period should not have to pay that kind of cost for this issue. 3 times the cost of the part just for labor...ridiculous! neither the service advisor or the Service manager is willing to negotiate any price change difference. I am still waiting to hear from the Manager of the Dealership. I would like a discount of $200.00 inflated labor charge. I am also placing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the State of Michigan Attorney General Office for price gouging.
