Sheridan was my consultant/salesperson at Morrie’s Minnetonka Subaru, in Minnesota, and an excellent listener. I told him I planned to purchase a vehicle within a week and had narrowed my choices to three makes, including Subaru. After the test drive, we reviewed numbers. The Forester Hybrid in my preferred color wasn’t in stock, so Sheridan quickly checked on a dealer trade. He returned with his manager, Paul, who confirmed they could bring one in from Wisconsin and presented a written out-the-door price. Paul understood I still intended to test drive a Honda and applied absolutely no pressure. I felt respected, well-informed, and confident in the offer, so I decided to move forward with Subaru without visiting Honda. This was the Saturday before Easter, and Morrie’s had my new Forester ready by Monday. I left the dealership feeling completely at ease with my decision.
