My Ford truck blew a brake line on the Interstate while on a cross-country move. I limped into Reed Chevrolet and Tom Pflugradt in your Service Department provided outstanding customer service to me. He secured the truck with my belongings in the Service Bay overnight and was able to get my truck fixed and back on the road the following afternoon, despite it being a Ford. Tom went way out of his way on both a professional and personal level to make sure that I had adequate accommodations for my unexpected overnight stay in St. Joseph, even providing his personal cell number to contact him if I had any problems or questions. Tom epitomizes why Reed Chevrolet is rated Number 1 and I sincerely appreciated his compassionate and caring customer service; you're Number 1 in my book Tom!

A Great Service Experience - clarinet guy

I have been a "car" guy all of my life. I turned 70 this year and have owned 38 cars up to this point, most of them European. I was introduced to the "Mazda Experience" late in life when we purchased a 2009 Mazda 6 for my wife at Reliable Mazda. When I realized that a Japanese car could be fun to drive I eventually purchased a new 2014 Mazda 6, and really fell in love with the car. My only regret was that I didn't get the Technology Package on that car. So I talked my wife into letting me trade her car in on a new 2015 Mazda 6 with the Technology Package, gave her my 2014 and kept the 2015 as my ride! She is a very understanding woman! Recently I was tempted to consider a trade on my car for a used Jaguar XF sedan with just 6,000 miles on the odometer. I drove 125 miles to check out the car. I drove it on the highway and in town quite extensively, and realized that the Jaguar was just not as MUCH FUN TO DRIVE as my Mazda! Yes, it was a superb car, with a nice ride, good steering, looks, inside and out, but it just did not have the "athleticism" of my Mazda, I realized I really did not want to give up my car! I think the only way I could enjoy driving any more, would be to trade my Meteor Grey Mazda 6GT in on a new Meteor Gray MX-5 Miata GT. Now that sounds kind of exciting, except my two small dogs would miss the back seat! On the way back from that trip my BSM system went on the fritz and so I took it in to the great techs. at Reliable Mazda, and Dan got me back on the road in great shape with all systems go once again! Our salesman was Ted W.. He never was pushy at all . He gave us time to our self to look around with out him , which we were impressed on that . Over all we felt everyone is friendly and didn't feel like we were at a dealer ship that we have experienced in the pass . We drive 140 miles one way just to deal with them .

After having the dealership replace my engine with a used, warrantied engine and Rick Ball Ford-Lincoln in Sedalia, MO said they would warranty the labor for my 2013 C-Max Energi. The car & I made it 17 miles out of town then the engine overheated. I asked them to come get me and my car. They told me to call a tow truck and get a hotel. I finally made it to my hotel almost THREE HOURS after I initially arrived at the dealership to take my car home. C'mon guys. You should have sent someone to pick me up and take me to a hotel or offer me a loner car when I asked. Instead Troy the service department manager just went home early. The general manager, Ryan Ball, told me he couldn't help since Troy wasn't there and wasn't answering his telephone to approve any help aside from paying for the tow truck. I thought his job as general manager was to take care of his customers. In perspective the date was 20/20/2018 please check the Sedalia, MO weather to see it was freezing rain that night and they just left me on the side of the road after spending well over $3,000.00 at their dealership on an engine they promised they would warranty all labor on. The next morning they made it to where my car won't overheat but the check engine light is on, service engine light is on, the car always thinks it's plugged in and takes about a minute or two of menu toggling to tell the computer it's not plugged in. When I called and told the general manager, Ryan Ball, that I expect him to pay for my hotel room in addition to the tow truck bill (which they already agreed to pay for) and fix the service engine/battery lights so I can know the car is safe to drive he told me his dealership is done working on the car. I was polite throughout the entire process which has me baffled why Ryan Ball would talk down to me and call me a liar. Even afterwards I simply let him know that I have written documentation that disproved his reason for calling me a liar and read him the two sentenced he was told about verbatim.

Took my Telluride in for the 7500 mile service. The service was fine but the car was not washed. Never in all my years of taking my car to a dealer was the car not washed. I will not take my car there again.
