Had a great experience in the sales department getting my new transmission under warranty. Unfortunately my 60k mile 2021 Tucson needed a new transmission already, but with the 100,000 10 year power train warranty, Benny in the service department helped me tremendously with all the necessary paperwork. It was all done in just under 2 weeks.

This dealership is the biggest joke in all of New York. Not only did they schedule my oil change for their lunch time and made me sit in the waiting room for 2 entire hours, TO DO AN OIL CHANGE, but they also tightened stuff so much to the point I cannot get it back off to do an oil change by myself. I’ve done hundred of oil changes without an issue and the one time I go to them for one, they tightened the drain plug so much that it broke my socket without even budging. They are supposedly a bunch of master technicians, but done even know how to do an oil change right and can’t even answer the phone so I could talk to them about it. You just get transferred and transferred until you reach someone not there and have to leave a message. The biggest mistake of my life was doing business with Greenwich ford and it is the last time I will ever go to them for anything.

A few days ago I contacted Advantage Chevrolet in Brooklyn to ask how much they charge to diagnose what was wrong with my Traverse. Over the course of two days, I never got an answer. Friday 5/24/24 1:48PM - Hi Jerry, my 2014 Traverse is bogging down, shuddering, losing power, making clunking noises, I think my first and possibly second gear is now gone in the transmission, locks are randomly going up and down by themselves, rear camera stopped working. And continued to stall me and xx me and tell me that you'd get back to me shortly and never did. No wonder you have so many one star horrible reviews online. There's no way I would ever go to Advantage Chevrolet for anything. And I’ll spread the word and warn everyone else I to not go there as well. Watch for another one star bad review online. In April of 2023 we went on vacation for a week and came home to a dead 2022 Yukon purchased from this dealer. We contacted the dealer to inquire being this didn’t make sense happening to a brand new vehicle. We had heard from another dealership locally that there was a recall regarding battery drainage but it wasn’t “vin specific”. When we contacted king orourke the person we spoke with had no answers for us as there was no “bin specific” recall for our vehicle and told me to “take to the other dealer then” the customer service was horrible and our concerns were dismissed. We ended up having to buy a new battery out of pocket costing over $300. Fast forward to now, the recall letter was sent a few months ago, and we made the appt to have the update completed to care for said battery drain issue. We inquired with management to have some sort of compensation regarding the out of pocket cost and were again dismissed. The dealership claimed “your battery is fine” - yea, obviously. We paid to have a new one put in before we were formally notified about the recall. I really didn’t think we were asking much, floor mats. Something. But instead we were spoken to with zero patience or understanding. Poor customer service all around.

Brought car in for routine maintenance. All was fine or so I thought. Some time later when I pulled down my front visor with mirror I noticed dirty finger prints all over the mirror and a significant scratch on the interior material of the visor. As I expected when I called they are denying they had anything to do with it and wont do anything about it. I obviously can't prove it. I have had bad experiences with both Mazda Service and now Hyundai. I will have to take my business elsewhere in the future and I suggest you do as well.
