The only answer I received was a wave of the service person's hand, as if to say, Look how crowded we are. I left and won't be back.

I am disgusted with the customer service of Honda as a whole. I have a 2018 pilot that has a bad torque converter. I have had issues since 2021 and was told sometimes these cars need to transmission fluid to be flushed 3 times because they get sludge in there. I told them I have never heard of that before but they insisted. Fast forward to 2024 and there is recall on these torque converters. So I brought it back in when my transmission light kept coming on and stated transmission fluid was hot. They never reached out to tell me about issue with this model. My car is now in the shop for day 2 and they have no problem leaving a divorced mom of 2 kids who has no family in the area without a rental car or solution to me being without a car. I told them I would rent a car and they could reimburse me because the issue is that they have no loaners in shop. Both this dealership and main honda number will not reimburse me. They want to give me back my car until thursday to drive around with bad transmission because "it is safe for local traveling" until they can service it in 2 days. I do not think that asking for a loaner car while they work on my transmission is too much to ask. I will not buy another HONDA

I would avoid. First, communication was bad, came in having seen a vehicle that they advertised that we wanted, confirmed it was what we wanted and stated we wanted to buy it. I understand that the profit margin and sales commission on a $14K vehicle is probably considerably less than an brand new $70K vehicle, but the sales team seemed uninterested at best in assisting and had a hard time getting phone calls returned while going through the purchase and financing of it. If you don't want to be bothered selling used vehicles, stop selling them. Secondly, from the time I purchased it the transmission felt as if it may be low on fluid or in need of servicing. It's a sealed transmission so I was unable to check the fluid level myself so made an appointment to bring it in while it was under NY state used car warranty. I made an appointment because they advised the worker who does transmission work wasn't in all the time (understandable), and I had to pay for a rental car so I had a vehicle while being worked on so wanted it at the shop for as shot a time as possible. Dropped it for service, then in 3 days, after several rounds of failed phone tag, I stopped past the shop (and by "stopped by" I mean drove the hour from home because nobody could answer the phone and when they did, nobody called me back again) to be told they hadn't even looked at it yet. Two days later I get called and told it's good, nothing wrong with it, service manager stated that he took it for a drive himself and claimed it to be on the, "one of the smoothest driving Journey's'" (his words) that he'd ever driven. I was kind of mad to have paid for a rental car for most of the week only to have it looked at 5 days after being dropped off but I figured, its done, I have the car back, we'll just move on. The transmission continued to feel off but I assumed perhaps Dodge Journey's just weren't a smooth driving car. This all occurred approximately two months ago. This week I took the vehicle for brakes and had the mechanic point out a very minor leak from the transmission, one he surmised could have existed for weeks or months due to the leak being very minor and transmission fluid having been spattered some distance down the length of the undercarriage of the vehicle. Having this pointed out, and having noticed minor fluid drippings in the driveway for the last couple months that I had previously blamed on my older vehicle, I did a visual check an confirmed no leak from my other vehicle, only the transmission of the Journey. With these new findings and the dismissive nature of the service staff and manager, I cant help but wonder if a test drive or even a basic visual inspection of the transmission was completed to begin with. Another Dodge dealer in the area advised transmission service on the vehicle will be $500-800 so I understand why the staff of Armory would blow me off rather than complete work under warranty but it doesn't make it right. Now here I am, a week before an intended family vacation struggling to not only find a shop to complete service this week, but also figuring out how to afford it when it seems this issue should have been detected and repaired by Armory in the week that they had it in their shop. I'd suggest suggest looking elsewhere if in the market for a vehicle or for service on an already owned vehicle.

Similar review to one i just read about getting a loaner. Bought a 2023 (new at the time) suburban high country - so same as other review - - not a cheap vehicle. Asked for a loaner, was told they are first come first serve. When i arrived for appointment at 0830, i was met with laughter from people checking me in about getting a loaner. I have owned BMW (from Burdick) in past (cheaper than the suburban) and service was outstanding, along with always getting a loaner.

When we purchased this Equinox (12/14/2020 ID #3GNAXUEV1ML330533) we purchased the extended warranty (Zurich for $2,999) and were told by sales person it covered everything except wearable items (like tires, brakes ect.). It took over a year before Matthews cleared up that we even had the extended warranty. It was only cleared up because our daughter questioned them when she purchased her Subaru. We had also received a letter from GM Financial (3/18/21) that the sales contract and warranty were not handled correctly. We had oil change on 9/2/2025 and asked that they fix a senor in rear bumper. They said it was not covered as you have to replace the bumper and bumpers are not covered. This is just a way to avoid the expense of repairing a defect of the car that was not caused by any other actions from us. Using that logic removing any item not covered to get at a covered item would mean nothing is covered. Also at this visit we were told when checking out that they did not rotate tires as they left the best tires on the back for winter. A 2021 Equinox is front wheel drive unless you switch to all wheel drive The invoice (84835) clearly state they rotated tires. The tires were replaced 3/21/2025 and we had you do an 4-wheel alignment on 3/28/2025 at 55,907 miles (invoice #79270), they now have 63,411. I measured tires and they are the same. We have no idea if tires were rotated. At our first oil change (8/6/21) we asked that they check a tire that has been losing air from the day we purchased. They said they removed a nail and plugged but it never changed. I had my tire guy dismounted it, check valve and had remount and it corrected it. We didn't him to check for the plug and he didn't say anything about a plug. I have a real problem with how confusing your invoices are and how inconsistent they can be from one time to the next. I am going to start questing every time we go again IF EVER. I did your survey one or 2 years ago and was contacted about talking to them. I was not available at the time but sent an e-mail to the person who contacted me that I would be there on a set date for an oil change and would meet with them then but I never heard back from them. Overall we are well satisfied with the car but are very disappointed with Matthew and after talking with other it appears it is a very common opinion.

Brought my CX90 in for service after making an appointment. Dropped the car off at 7:30. They ubered me home. Late that afternoon they called to tell me the car was ready. They did a bunch of recalls and updates along with a service package for 15K miles. Did a video inspection of the car that they sent to my cell phone. They sent an uber to pick me up. Every thing went very smoothly.
