I would choose zero stars if I could. I recently had an issue with my 2017 forester having a loud noise sometimes when idling and not starting on 3 separate occasions. I had to have it towed to Subaru on the day I was having it checked. After checking out the car I was told that the engine was seized and it would cost $8000-$10000. immediately upon hearing this news Ellen Yerry said "Do you want to talk to someone in sales?" I was told that obviously the engine is seized since the sticker in my window shows I am 30000 miles over for an oil change and it looks like someone put fresh oil in after the fact. This assumption was wrong as I had had an oil change less than 2000 miles prior and had just had a 90000 mile check up at this dealership. I showed all the paperwork to prove this. The attitude at this dealership was "Oh Well, sometimes things just happen" as told to me by Buddy Schism, the service manager. This is the dealership that I bought my car from. I was skeptical from the moment I was asked if I wanted to talk to someone in sales. I had the car towed to 1st Place Auto and Tire. In less than 2 hours they had diagnosed that the engine WAS NOT seized and it turned out to be the air condition compressor and belt. Fixed at a cost of $1200 The customer service I received was cold and uncaring every step of the way. I was charged $75.00 to incorrectly diagnose my car My car never moved from where I had it towed in the parking lot. Instead of taking my car in and actually looking at it they assumed what the problem was. Buddy claimed he was going to talk to someone at corporate to see if there was anything they could do to help ( my extended full coverage had recently run out from the 5 year mark but was still under 100000 miles.) I don't believe that he tried to talk to anyone. I truly feel that they were trying to SCAM me into buying a new car OR the mechanics are completely incompetent. I called this dealer to let them know about my car being fixed etc. Ellen claimed she would let Buddy know. Haven't heard a peep in 5 days. Where is this so called LOVE Subaru? I will tell everyone I know not to go there And I will share my story as far and wide as possible

This past Saturday my family and I were in a car accident when a wheel on our GMC came off due to loose lug nuts that were not properly tightened by a garage downstate. Fred, Luke and Molly were incredibly supportive! They were waiting for us when the flatbed arrived at the dealership, fit us in same day and got us back on the road within a few hours. They were so fast in fixing the issue that Fred kindly drove me back to the rental car agency to return a rental car that we didn't need. They properly diagnosed the damage and made sure we were safe and sound and good to go! All for a very reasonable price. It was a stressful day for our family and having such great people take care of us really went a long way in helping us make the most of a difficult situation. I can't thank them enough and wholeheartedly recommend the D'Ella team for your sales and service needs. Thank you again Fred, Luke, Molly and the entire D'Ella Team.

What an experience... I live in New Jersey and well too far away to frequent this dealership, and that's a xxxx shame because it's head and shoulders better than any dealer I have in my area. A week ago Sunday, my family was on its way to Lake Placid when it encountered a transmission issue outside of Lake George. We have the car towed to D'ella Honda so they can take a look at it. Jody called me first thing Monday morning to check in and let us know that she was going to have the car have looked at. It ended up being a very serious and costly issue (transmission replacement). Her willingness to work with us to come up with a solution that worked for us was a huge deal for us and well above what I expected from a dealer. Even better, she work came in below the cost estimate by several hundred dollars (after saving us several thousand dollars through a more cost-effective but reliable option) and the turnaround time was fast. She knew our family was up in the Lake George area and knew they had to head back so in addition to coming in well ahead of expectations, she was able to get us a loaner car so we could get to/from the area, saving us an additional several hundred dollars. Consider the fact that we were 200 miles from home with serious car trouble and in a position where a dealer could have seriously jammed us up. Not only did we receive the opposite, we received top level service, great communication and someone that over-delivered more than I could have expected. Jody, thank you so much for the service. Even if I wish we could have done business under different circumstances, you took a way a lot of the stress and aggravation. Thank you for that.

Dansville Chrysler is a great place to have your vehicle serviced. Being a return customer, I am very happy with the quality of work from the technicians. Skip and Kyle got my vehicle in at my earliest availability. I didnt have to wait a week! Paul had my replacement parts ready and waiting. I had a few question's about car's and Graham and Lenny had all the answers. When I'm ready for my next new car I will be going to DCDJ. I highly recommend checking them out if you live around the area. Much better than any of the surrounding options! A very relaxed and personable atmosphere where they know you by name.

I arrived without an appointment after being sideswiped. Cara took care of me immediately, looked over the impacted area of my car and explained the work that was likely needed. Much to my surprise, she was able to take my car in right away and turned around body and mechanical work in the same day. I don't think it needs any more explanation that the facts, but I was blown away with the level of service and timeliness. I couldn't be happier with my experience with Cara!

I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. Brought my vehical in for service under an extended warranty when shop called me to tell me what was wrong, I told them that was not making the noise I was hearing. They told me it was and it would fix the issue. I picked the vehical up 3 days later and didn't even make it 5 minutes down the road turned around and went back telling Jason the service manager that the vehical was not fixed ! They then told me to bring the vehical back a week later, after I insisted that a tech ride with me at that minute to hear the noise that truck was making. The tech hears the noise and apologizes for not hearing it in the past 3 days they had the vehical. A week later then I call and to make sure they have a car and nope. Let's rescedual for Friday 10 days after it should have been the first time, and when I ask about other jobs that needed to be done not covered by my Warrenty and you couldn't get return calls from Dan or Jason. They still have not fixed what my vehical went in there for, refuse to now if I do not pay more $. I will definitely take my business elsewhere along with all my Ford family. As well as have filed a dealer complaint with ford aginst them. Wouldn't take your vehical here unless you want to pay tons of money and be inconvienced!

Needed a pickup Jason helped me out was pleasant and help full he didn't realize the truck I purchased had issues! I guess when it went through the shop for inspection they just didn't check it out ! If you buy a preowned watchout you may have just bought a money pit and if you know anything about mechanics keep your mouth shut you will be asked to leave my advice if you plan to buy from this dealership take the car or truck to a trusted mechanic for a once over thought those days were over but I bought a money pit today I was told they would rather I didn't come back !! no problem !!!

Scheduled a time to have the transmission serviced in my 2020 GMC Denali and expected to have the fluid changed and internal filter replaced. Instead, they only changed the fluid and did NOT replace the transmission filter. I spoke to the service manager, who would not provide his full name (Scott) and he said it wasn’t necessary to replace the filter because they flushed the entire system with a detergent. My GMC service manual calls for a fluid and filter change every 45,000 miles. I will never use the service department at Davidson GMC again. I wasted $400.
