Dealer rater please fix your system, this is the third time I'm writting the same review. My leased Hyundai Tuscon had a check engine light and I called Hyundai 112. First available appointment was in 2 weeks and first available loaner in about 2 months. This is not what was advertised. I called Hyundai Centereach and Marissa Riviera was very helpful and polite. Scheduled a next day appointment. I dropped the car off and they found the probelm first thing in the morning. Ordered the part, some switch which took a couple of days to arrive. They installed it asap, updated software, recalibrated and the car is now up and running. Thank you Marissa Riviera, Greg Briones, Ryan Woiosin, John Lane and a lovely girl at the cashier counter. (sorry if I misspelled any names). Service was under warranty and free. Highly recommed their service! Happy Easter!

Jon Munnik made things Quick and Easy and was VERY Helpful and knowledgeable. Service department is Absolutely Terrible. Nothing but Terrible Experience every time I need to go for something. Drop the car off and you’ll always get the “Hi Marshall this is Joe at Garvey Hyundai North you can text me anytime during your Service visit” don’t waste your time they won’t respond. You can call Garvey and they will get you over to service, they won’t answer and Don’t bother leaving a voicemail because they won’t return your calls. You need to keep calling until they get sick of you than they will “Try to get answers”. Brought up an issue to the Service Department 10/16 and its now 11/21 and this hasn’t been correct all they had to do was order a new Part and install it its plastic it breaks I get it but a MONTH to get it Resolved! This Service is the one of the Reason I will not be buying another Vehicle From Garvey Hyundai North!

Brought my car in for inspection and oil change...your service was outstanding.....Brandon Mannly was right on top of things ...we were well informed about how long it would take for the service....pretty darn accurate....he talked to us about what we should be looking for as far as break and rotor....wear on tires....walked us to pay window then walked us out to the car .....he was a pleasure to deal with ....got the car back in tip top shape...

Service advisors are very nice, they provide a loaner (if you have very advance notice), and they'll provide a ride share home from the dealership. However, that's where the positives end. Their hourly labor rate is $450!! That is 3x the amount of most mechanics on LI and twice as much as another Volvo dealer! Their charges for work that "might" need to be done is outrageous. Please do your research. Check parts prices, check with your local mechanic, and check another Volvo dealership for service. DO NOT use Huntington! You will go broke to maintain your vehicle.

I came here today to get service for my car. I have been driving for many years and have visited many service centers. I had many bad experiences before, so I did not trust service centers. But this time was very different. Two service advisors, Larry Biehl and Tim Biehl, changed my mind. They gave me the best service and made me feel comfortable. Now, I trust this place again. I can buy a car and get service at Smith Haven Jeep without worry. I am very, very thankful to both of them!

Had a great experience in the sales department getting my new transmission under warranty. Unfortunately my 60k mile 2021 Tucson needed a new transmission already, but with the 100,000 10 year power train warranty, Benny in the service department helped me tremendously with all the necessary paperwork. It was all done in just under 2 weeks.

Sales department is good, the related collision shop is terrible. The first time we were there they told us three days for repairs when we dropped it off. After 5 days I called and gal said "We have your car?'" After a long delay, gal gets back on the phone and says "It will be ready in three days." This vehicle had roof damage from the car carrier - major repair. We picked it up late evening in the dark at their request, noticed the damage the next morning later when we looked down at it. Now we need to have something fixed. During one of the repairs they had to take out the iterior molding, and put it back with a piece cracked off. This vehicle is a 2024 Telluride with very low mileage - and we didn't notice the poor interior workmanship until we had a car full of people and I was in the back seat. Their response to a request to fix it was how do we know you didn't break it, and you took too long to notice it was broken. We also had to have the back gate repaired as the lift gasket kept falling off. Additionally, many recalls. My advice is too look EVERYTHING over with a fine tooth comb. Please note this review is for the Northtown collision center that Northtown Kia sends you to.. The service center is better although not without problem. When we called to schedule a recall- adjustable front seat has the potential to start on fire, the gal on the phone said we had to bring it in to be looked at and if they decided it needed the recall, then we could schedule an appointment. We live a considerable distance away. The service department, upon hearing this said that is insane and took care of everything while we wee there.

*BUYER BEWARE* Just a PSA regarding Greenwich Ford. A few weeks ago, I hit a pothole that caused damage to a vehicle I purchased at Greenwich Ford. When I purchased the vehicle, I purchased an extended warranty. I reached out to them to see if the damage would be covered. While my guess was that it wouldn't be covered, I had seen references from people regarding this issue with my model of vehicle that had been covered by Ford. And so I emailed them, explaining the situation and including a picture. They requested that I bring the car in so they could determine how much, if anything would be covered under the warranty. My wife dropped the car off and when she picked it up, they charged us a $200 "diagnostic fee" just to tell us that damage by a pothole is not covered as it is considered an act of God. This is something that could have been disclosed without a visit to Ford "for a diagnosis". And no fee for diagnosing this was ever disclosed to me. It is a shame that Greenwich Ford does business in this fashion. I do NOT recommend that anyone does business with a company that engages in such shady practices.

A few days ago I contacted Advantage Chevrolet in Brooklyn to ask how much they charge to diagnose what was wrong with my Traverse. Over the course of two days, I never got an answer. Friday 5/24/24 1:48PM - Hi Jerry, my 2014 Traverse is bogging down, shuddering, losing power, making clunking noises, I think my first and possibly second gear is now gone in the transmission, locks are randomly going up and down by themselves, rear camera stopped working. In April of 2023 we went on vacation for a week and came home to a dead 2022 Yukon purchased from this dealer. We contacted the dealer to inquire being this didn’t make sense happening to a brand new vehicle. We had heard from another dealership locally that there was a recall regarding battery drainage but it wasn’t “vin specific”. When we contacted king orourke the person we spoke with had no answers for us as there was no “bin specific” recall for our vehicle and told me to “take to the other dealer then” the customer service was horrible and our concerns were dismissed. We ended up having to buy a new battery out of pocket costing over $300. Fast forward to now, the recall letter was sent a few months ago, and we made the appt to have the update completed to care for said battery drain issue. We inquired with management to have some sort of compensation regarding the out of pocket cost and were again dismissed. The dealership claimed “your battery is fine” - yea, obviously. We paid to have a new one put in before we were formally notified about the recall. I really didn’t think we were asking much, floor mats. Something. But instead we were spoken to with zero patience or understanding. Poor customer service all around.

Brought car in for routine maintenance. All was fine or so I thought. Some time later when I pulled down my front visor with mirror I noticed dirty finger prints all over the mirror and a significant scratch on the interior material of the visor. As I expected when I called they are denying they had anything to do with it and wont do anything about it. I obviously can't prove it. I have had bad experiences with both Mazda Service and now Hyundai. I will have to take my business elsewhere in the future and I suggest you do as well.
