Want to be taken for a ride? Take your car here for service. They charged me nearly $200 (all labor) to diagnose an emissions system leak which they said required dropping the gas tank to find. After telling me the fix would require a new gas tank and a total cost of $1550, I took the car elsewhere for a second opinion. Ends up they never even dropped the tank! They charged me for services they never performed. The rusted bolts were still rusted onto the body and to drop my tank also requires dropping the exhaust system and it was never moved. I ended up getting the problem solved by the second mechanic for under $300 (who actually dropped the tank AND fixed another issue in the exhaust system) and fixing it did NOT require a new gas tank. As with any business transaction, trust your gut if you think you're being taken advantage of, and get second opinions if your car is in drivable condition and you have the luxury to take it to another mechanic. I will be outlining these events in a letter to the owners, not sure how that will play out, but I intend to tell everyone I can what has happened here to warn them. Also, depending upon how expeditiously this issue is resolved, I am likely to file a report with the better business bureau and the PA Attorney General Office for fraudulent business practices.

No they didn’t I have to drive around with remote charger and had to use it 12 plus times now. The service manager tells me this how it works. Gee Thanks. Never again please never buy anything from them . They scheduled me out another week for my battery replacement. Who do this

Fred Beans VW is the perfect example of why people hate going to dealerships. What a rip off! $433 for a simple Jetta battery replacement. $135 in labor? $296 for the battery? No credit for the battery core AND they charged $22 to dispose of the battery. Hold on to your wallet if you get service here. BUYER BEWARE.

The sales process was great ......BUT they LIE and Bai you to believe the service side is the reason why you should pay a little extra. Truth is the Service side is a waste! The agents who take the calls and schedule are rude, unaware of anything auto related and are just there to try to be an impediment. then yo get the next level who tells you that it is a sales issue not service and that they cannot respond to everyone's needs as they have limited recourse's (just so that you are aware the salesmen and his VP told me that Service always has loaners and that las minute calls are no issue for folks who buy here) LIE!!! and at that level they just hang up! then the Manager of service calls makes excuses for everyone says they don't report to him and that he is unaware of any and all issues with his department again a lie as I have had to call the GM for VW thee ties with three different issues related to service. The GM for VW calls and I tell him how could i trust the service department as they appear to retaliate against folks who complain about basic service. I am afraid they will enhance the bill make something wrong that isn't etc.... so now I was sold on the fact that local service was impeccable and easy yet reality is there is no service UNLESS you want to PAY for Executive service. STAY FAR AWAY. GO TO Martinos!!!

Allegedly performed services with out permission. They were too fix a leaking engine oil pan gasket and they added coolant service, brake service, transmission service. Coolant and transmission had recently been serviced, was not needed. The transmission had a premium sinthetic fluid in that they allegedly replaced with basic atf. Basic theft, dishonest business.

Just pushing tin. Have problem with recently purchased coachman nova. Took back for service to check. After 5 hour wait was told a chassis problem go to dodge. Digital mirror cuts off, no power to hitch. The dodge dealers in this area, Elkton Md, "can't (wont) accomadate even though they are listed as "business link" Fretz service dept and sales manager, Eric, no help...not their problem. The unit had 600 miles on it, how did someone drive it for 600 miles and not know the mirror was messed up?
