On Wednesday December 22nd after filling up my car with gas it wouldn’t start. It gave a reading disclosing error with the engine and battery. I also received an error message about my key fob. I received a jump and went immediately to O’Reilly Auto Parts to get a new battery. Gulf Coast Nissan of Angleton was closed for the day so this was the most feasible solution at the time. In the middle of running my errands on Thursday, December 23rd I took my car into Gulf Coast Nissan of Angleton because I knew my battery was still under warranty. I spoke with Josh who did my service intake information. After waiting 45 minutes the service guy and along with Josh conjured a story about my battery being perfectly fine. I asked multiple times were they sure because my car literally wouldn’t start and it freaked me out because my car is a 2020 Nissan Altima which shouldn’t have any extraneous mechanical issues. I left trusting their judgement because this is my local Nissan that I’ve been patronizing for over two decades. Ever since leaving there with a “perfectly fine” battery my car has had a hesitation when starting. Today, December 28th, after work I got in my car only for it not to start. I had to have one of my coworkers assist me in jumping the battery. I immediately went to Nissan of Baytown in which my suspicion was validated - I was lied to by Gulf Coast Nissan of Angleton. Instead of replacing the failing battery WHILE IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY, they wanted me to come back with a dead battery after the expiration of my warranty to gain my money. The representative I worked with in Baytown took customer service seriously and showed me that all Nissan of Angleton did was super charged my battery in order to send me on my way. The audacity of Nissan of Angleton to send me off unprotected! I specifically told them I work out of town and I rely on my car for transportation. Not only is this beyond shady service, but a deplorable representation of the Nissan brand. Because of their lazy/nonchalant attitude towards my needs, my life could’ve been jeopardized if something graved would’ve happened with me being stranded because of a battery THAT IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY!!!! I was in and out of Nissan of Baytown in 30 minutes with a brand new battery without the run around I was given at Gulf Coast Nissan. It’s sad seeing the lengths some businesses will go to cheat customers out of their money. Even though the service has drastically declined at this location, I still gave them my business because of proximity to my home. Never again!!! I advise no one to purchase nor have their car serviced at the Nissan in Angleton because customer care is the bottom of their list. Not only was my time wasted, but my trust with Gulf Coast Nissan of Angleton is completely broken.

I recently had an excellent experience with the service department at Gulf Coast Toyota. The service writer, Marcus, was incredibly easy to communicate with and very accommodating. He made sure to include the repair technician, Rob, in our conversations to prevent any misunderstandings. Rob was knowledgeable and professional, quickly and efficiently diagnosing the problem. The parts department also enhanced the overall service by promptly ordering and supplying the necessary parts, resulting in a fast turnaround time for the repairs. Additionally, the service manager, Jack, went above and beyond to help resolve an unrelated problem I was facing. His dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction truly stood out. I would highly recommend Gulfgate Dodge Services department. I live in Las Vegas, NV my grandson a college student in Houston had issues with his Jeep. I was very worried about this situation until I spoke with Ron G. in the services department... His professionalisms, knowledge of his job and his reassurance eased my worries and concerns. He kept me in the loop each day and he worked very closely with the warranty company... He's an employee that cares about customers and is definitely a keeper. Once again thank you!!!

Love doing business here. Salespeople are straightforward with none of the expected slime techniques I've repeatedly found at other dealers. Service is very good; more than once I've brought my car in that other Mazda dealers have failed to repair and their repair crew nails the problem and fixes it. Services prices are reasonable and their techs are straightforward. Prices are pretty competitive for new cars; do your comparison shopping and walk in as an informed consumer and you'll do fine here.

Do not take your car here for service. I’ve given this dealership three chances. Each time I came back, the experience got worse. And to top it off, they hide their bad reviews. First Visit – Oil Change & Tire Rotation ✅ No issues + free car wash Second Visit – Oil Change & Tire Rotation ❌ Car wash not working – no big deal. ❌ Told they might break a lug nut trying to remove it… even though they were the last ones to rotate my tires just 5,000 miles ago. ❌ They broke the lug nut – fine, these things happen – but then charged me $150 to fix it? Third Visit – Oil Change, Tire Rotation & Parking Brake Adjustment ❌ My parking brake wouldn't hold the truck on a hill or while idling. Two options: a $90 adjustment (which might fix it) or a $160 diagnosis. If it just needed an adjustment, they’d only charge the $90. I agreed to the $160 diagnosis. ❌ Took over 4 hours from 9 AM to 1 PM for an oil change, tire rotation, and brake adjustment. OK, maybe they were super busy. ❌ Optional free car wash? Another hour of waiting – no thanks. ❌ Received a fancy video inspection where Jared said the adjustment didn’t work and that I needed to pay $1,215.27 to replace the cable. No thanks, I’ll check it myself. Turns out—the adjustment worked. They still charged me the full $160 diagnosis fee, even though all they did was adjust it. ❌ Discovered my hood release lever wasn't properly connected. They offered to "fix" it for $107.89. The part? A $4 clip that takes 5 minutes and no tools to replace. Were they replacing the entire hood latch assembly or taking an hour to do it? No explanation. ❌ Now, my truck is leaking oil on my driveway for the first time ever. Makes me wonder—does their "free car wash" just clean up the mess their techs leave behind or it it really leaking? ❌ They didn’t even replace my windshield service reminder. Maybe they don’t want me to come back. I bought my first Toyota for its reputation of quality and reliability. I can change my own oil, but I was willing to spend extra for dealer service to keep my truck in top shape. Big mistake. I slept on writing this review for two nights because I wanted to be fair. But at this point, I don't think Toyota would want its brand associated with this kind of service—especially when there are so many other places to take my truck. Let’s see if anyone who can actually make a difference in their service reads this, or if I’ll just get the usual copy-paste "we sincerely apologize" response. It’s too late for me—but not for your more loyal customers, who deserve better. Oh, and did you know that when companies like this ask for feedback with calls and emails after your appointment, they push good ratings to Google but quietly bury the bad ones? Great for new customers, bad for actually improving service.

Had a strange noise coming out of the front of our suburban. Called Tim Surles with the service department and ask him what he thought, he told me it could be several things and to bring it by and they would take a look at it. My wife brought it in, Tim took a look at it and said if she could leave it there they would try to get it in that day. Tim provided my wife with a loaner, it ended up being an easy fix and they were able to get it fixed the same day and 3 hours later my wife was back in her suburban and problem solved. We really appreciated Tim taking such great care of us as we were going out of town in a few days and planned to take that vehicle. He really did a great job, treated us like a valued customer, and even ran the suburban through the car wash as an added bonus and another example of his excellent customer service. Thank you very much Tim, we really appreciate you sir!
