I took my 2017 Ford escape with 47K miles to Mac Haik's - brian

I took my 2017 Ford escape with 47K miles to Mac Haik's Southway Ford (that I bought from them) and paid $185 for a diagnostic because it was running rough. They read the codes and told me a needed a new engine that would cost $10k. I declined and they tried to sell me a new car. I took my car to a 3rd party shop and they fixed it by cleaning the fuel injectors. It has been running fine since. Mac Haik didn't even try to do a proper diagnoses of my car. They said that because they thought my car needed a new engine it would cost thousands of dollars for them to verify their suspicions by tearing it down and that I should just get a new engine or buy a new car and they would gladly put me in contact with a salesperson. Avoid Mac Haik at all costs, they are scammers and cheats and will try to wring you for every penny you have. Do not buy a car from them and do not trust them with your cars. Mac Haic is still calling me regularly trying to sell me a new car! SMH.

Worst customer care. Had my truck for almost 5 months for a recall. Picked up truck with a wrecked bumper mirror and door panel. They did nothing not to mention a drive shaft for a 4x4 in the bed of the truck. Trailer hitch bent looks like the used it to pull a trailer and jack knows it. Was supposed to get a call from owner of lot. Crickets still no call. At 10,000 mile oil change was told rear Ed oil needed to be changed. Lies. The oil change package was told after purchase it is disqualified because it’s an eco diesel. Why was it sold to me so I only received two of the three changes. No one calls you back. I will never purchase from Texan dodge humble.

They asked me to leave it another day to wash it and when I went to pick it up i find a dirty car. this is after a 60 mile one way trip. not good I have purchased several vehicles at this dealership but might question another. Chris Negen in the service department has been awesome past few times even when Victoria was supposed to help but really didn’t seem to care. He is always courteous and answers all our questions no matter what. We had to have a part ordered for our Santa Cruz for the hood and most recently this week fender trim parts. All service people should be like him. We’ll ask for him every time.
