Worth the extra drive - L.Eastman
I happened upon this dealership when I found a vehicle online that I was interested in and drove out to the dealership to take a look. I live in Utah County, so the drive is pretty significant considering there are at least 5 other Ford dealers that are closer to me and one within 2 miles. I ended up buying a different truck than the one I originally looked at, but chose to buy it directly from that dealership (rather than request a dealer trade with the local Ford dealer) because they were so easy to deal with. It was more time for me to do it that way, and I had to arrange a ride back out to pick up my commuter car... but I would do it again to buy from these guys.

We have loved my Chevy Blazer so much,and didn't want to replace it,but was getting a little tired.Torrey set me up with a beautiful new Equinox and made the experience so easy and enjoyable! My husband I were looking at vehicles so when the time came to purchase a vehicle we knew exactly what it was the would want. We went to every dealership in Saint George and online with a few from Las Vegas to Layton Utah. I went in to Stephen Wade just to get an idea of the general vehicles. I was working with Mike F. I explained our situation and told him that I wasn't looking at anything in the near future. He suggested the Equinox after everything that I explained that I needed to carry around with me and what I was looking for. Afterward I thanked him and went to another dealership to test out a similar vehicle and was treated rudely. After taking it over with my husband a few days later he went in and spoke with Mike and they took the Equinox out for a test drive. after a week we decided that is a car we both could see ourselves driving. I did have a few concerns but after speaking with Mike we both felt comfortable with our choice. We are owners of a new 2017 Chevy Equinox. Our shopping experience was pleasant at Stephan Wade Chevy.

I put 5 stars but didn't actually buy my truck from them. I will definitely go to them next time. They didn't pressure, just gave me the best price on the truck I could find. They were open to getting me exactly what I wanted rather than trying to force a sale of what they had on the lot, willing to seek out dealer trades etc. They would even order me a truck built as I wanted at the price they offered. Great with questions, patient with answering everything.
In the end I bought another truck simply due to what I found at another dealer in the region. I felt bad telling Stephen I had bought something else I stumbled on. Based on everything I had seen prior, I suspect the delivery and service after the sale would have been equally good.

Very Dishonest & Over Priced on Vehcles! - Harley4Me
My brother went there to purchase a Chevy Silverado. He knew which one he wanted. He had shopped around and online. Needless to say by the end of the day they had pushed him into a Ram 1500? They never kept there word with the out the door price. Added in so many add-ons. Plus trade in on his vehicle they would give him $13 hundred. In the paper work they gave him $500. I caught them in so many lies & Excuses. Telling me his old truck would be sold for Scrap? That's all they would get out of it! Lol. I already new and seem it listed on there website for $6000. Seriously. They then tried to deny it. My brother did not understand what all they had done. Yes he should have just walked out on them. But when there are 5 salesman pushing and pushing a vehicle down your throat? My brother was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease two weeks after? He didn't know all the add ins or what they had done in the contract? . Then put him on a 75 month loan for 8.9% interest. xxxx, for that kind of a deal. He should have been able to buy the Chevy Silverado? As I spoke with the dealership after 2 days. I learned why they pushed him into the Ram. They never had the Silverado he wanted. But on the phone was completely the opposite they had what he was looking for?? They took advantage of the whole situation. Yes my brother should have not gone by himself? I wish I could have gone. If a dealership can take advantage of an individual can tell them one thing and do something else. As for his trade in. I bought it back from them. The same price. 10 days later.... Funny thing they still had the license plates still on it. Salesman (manager) said... It's your Lucky Day? First time in 27 years he forgot to take the plates off a vehicle? Seriously Blow Smoke Up Someone Else's ***! Also they put the Wrong Plates on his New Ram?? We just received the correct plates July 16 2016. We were never notified of nothing for 7 weeks this Ram had the wrong vin. # Plates and Registation which was another individuals. They were a little upset when I told the dealership I took the plates to the DMV? I felt that was the best place to take them? Doug Smith in Spanish Fork Utah. Are a bunch of Dishonest, Liars as well illegal issues. If nothing else I hope this review will get people to think twice before purchasing a vehicle from them. I am Not impressed with Doug Smith at all!! I hope this can save someone else some time and money. There are better places to purchase a vehicle & be treated honestly..

I feel from the first phone call with Bryan Hymas (in the service department) I was treated rudely and with disregard. When I told him the wires and plugs were covered by an internal recall memo; he blatantly stated there is no internal memo for that! Makes you feel like your being called a liar. I told him I would find it print it and bring it in.-----By the second phone call Bryan admitted there was an internal bulletin but it did not apply to our situation because of carbon buildup.---- the recall also covered PLUGS so…??? (MEMO 10250 for reference)
When we told Bryan that this issue was addressed with a different dealership and should not have gone defective within 5,000 miles he told us that what we're saying was like comparing getting a bad hamburger at one McDonalds and trying to return it to another. Our response is CHEVROLET Chevrolet?---------I spoke with Mr. Morgan who I was told is the Asst. Manager of John Watson Chevrolet
I explained the above distasteful rude treatment by Bryan. The response, I felt like Mr. Watson was condoning that behavior as he never apologized or better yet had Bryan apologize. He seemed to be not phased of Bryan's behavior like it was a normal occurrence and we were just another invoice.------------The real issue is that the plugs and wires should have been fixed with non defective parts the first time. Because they were not this caused the EGR valve to go bad and ended up costing us $700+. Which to us is a lot of mone and groceries.. Mr. Morgan said they would refund us 10% or the equivalent about $63 was refunded of of $735.
We plan on opening a claim and writing in a letter to GM. ------------This experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth and makes me feel like I never want o own another Chevrolet, one quick google search will bring up hundreds of pages of customer complaints with the Equinox. I feel like the heartbeat of America has turned into the heartache of America! So disappointed in this dealership!!!! Also as a courtesy even Jiffy lube will fill your tires with air if the inflate light is on, this service department simply ignored it.

This was my first time buying a car at a dealer and I was not happy at all with them the list price for the car was 3995 I gave them a 2000 dollar down payment and I was pre approved 12+ years at the same job even know all of that they would not let me take the car that day it was five days later before they got in touch with me I will never go back there again!
