I saw this silver 2003 BMW 540i I had been looking for advertised by Regal Motors for a reasonable price on Craigslist. Laster someone kindly posted a link to this dealer review site. The reviews for Regal motors were terrible. The only good reviews were phoney ones written by the Regal Salesman David. I should have listed to the reviews. Well, long story short, I really wanted this car so I drove over an hour to Stafford Virginia with my wife to go look at the car. The car was indeed everything I had hoped as far as condition. However, then the trouble started. David, salesman agreed to repair certain items on the car, prior to completing a sale. Also, they only had a valet key for car. Normal keys for this car cost around $150. He agreed initially to get items fixed & have key ready for final sale if we would place a deposit & sign a contract. However, when we asked to have the Key & repairs promised put in the contract, they refused. David, who had been friendly up to that time, was very rude when trying to negotiate contract. He sudden became a "typical used care salesman. All we asked for was very reasonable and what he promised. So, thank God we were able to walk out on that deal. So please, take head of these reviews! Do not waste your time & money!
