Where do you want me to begin, bought 2023 Niro phev new from Amir, was told we could trade it in for full value after 1st year. First lie, we’re sorry Amir is not in sales any longer? Then we start having issues with hybrid light and engine warning light. Bring it to dealer and was told we can’t look at it till next week. Was told it might be the auxiliary battery but can’t help you now. We can sell you the battery for $200 and you can install it? Ok we did 2 days later same problem so it was not the battery. Talk to Adam who said to bring car and leave it here will try to find you a loaner. We called and called to only get the run around from everyone at Car pros, manage said give him 15 minutes and he would have answers? Never called us back and I am furious by now. Was told by Adam to rent a car his preference was enterprise? We were told any rental company would be fine and that we would be reimbursed up to $44 per day but Adam also said don’t get any extra bells and whistles just a plain car and repeated several times make sure to get a vin on rental receipt? Thought that was strange. So I went to SeaTac airport for best rental deal. Car stayed in shop for a week and was called to pick it up it is ready. Adam mentioned car had a clicking sound should we check it out? Really absolutely please.
Well car clicking was not checked out so we were told for additional $240 inspection fee he could look at clicking sound. We left car there and were told to extend rental while repairs were being made. 18 days later car is ready. Bring rental receipts to Adam and he said without vin number on receipts that he can’t help us with reimbursement, really?
After several hours researching none of the rental company’s put vin number on receipts. I am beyond angry now I proceed to call customer care again and was told rental vin number was not necessary and she had never heard of such nonsense. My daughter, my wife and myself were all frustrated and this caused a lot of nonsense. I was just told after several hours on phone with care center that my case for reimbursement would be escalated?
Adam told us 1-2 weeks, Kia care center just told me minimum of 90 days for reimbursement if approved. $575 out of my pocket and get this the car phev light is on again and check engine light also. So I traded the xxxxx. In for a better brand. I am so tired of being lied to and taken advantage of. I am 60 years old and have been around the block a few times. Thank you for your concerns. The least you all could do is cut me a check for rental. I really want to take this farther and would really like to come down to service center and share my story with other customers. I would be ashamed to work for these guys. Terrible experience and Adam should be flipping burgers at McDonald’s
