First-rate experience all the way around. Tom Sawyer is exceptional on the front end. Charismatic and thoughtful in his approach, Tom did a great job operating at a pace that put me at ease. Beyond that, Josh Lewis and Craig Skadahl were thorough and transparent on the service side of the dealership. They genuinely cared. I bought a 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe from another dealer in early September 2022. Upon purchase, we were informed of a recall on the windshield that needed to be taken care of. This is required to be repaired at a Hyundai dealer so I scheduled an appt online at Bergstrom Hyundai in mid-September. After getting to my appt, I was told that they couldn't complete the recall that day because it was a two day repair and they did not have any loaner cars available. I couldn't be without a car that long so I opted to wait it out until they had a loaner car available. I was told they would call me as soon as one became available. THREE MONTHS LATER... now December, I called to see what was going on. The lady on the phone wouldn't schedule because she "didn't know if they ordered parts yet" and she had to have someone call me back before they could schedule. IT HAD BEEN THREE MONTHS... also I was told this would be completed in coordination with Tri-City Glass so I didn't understand what parts we could be waiting for. FOUR DAYS LATER... no one called me back. I called again... the guy I talked to said "we have loaner cars and we have for awhile". I'm glad I was a priority for a call. I opted to skip the loaner car at that point and just bring the car in when I had a week vacation. I dropped off on a Tuesday. A couple hours later I got a call that they actually couldn't get the repair until Wednesday. Fine, I have all week. Then Thursday at noon, I get notified it was ready. I go pick it up and the car was DISGUSTING. Dirt, grease, dust, stains. LITERALLY EVERYWHERE, including the back seat. My car has tan interior now covered in black dirt, seats included. I'm not sure why the car wasn't protected prior to sanding, grinding, etc. I called to tell them how dissatisfied I was that the car was returned, not in the condition it was dropped off. They did have me bring it back in and 40 minutes later it was cleaned. I'm really disappointed in the lack of care for my car while it was there and the quality control that was clearly lacking. This whole experience made me feel very undervalued as a customer and like this was an inconvenience to them. I would not go back for any service in the future.

I have been going to Berstrom for a while to work on my 2018 Infinity QX60. I went 2 weeks ago as the car was pulling. I do have an extended warranty on the car. I was told the front control arms were shot, the back brakes and rotors, and I needed new tires and a rear windshield wiper. The quote was 750 for the breaks and 882 for each control arm. I asked about the warranty and was told it was not covered. I told them to please fix 1 control arm and I would schedule for the other at a later time. I was told they did not have the part and they would order. I didn't feel right away what was told to me. I called the warranty company and was told Bergstrom never called. I was told the control arms are covered under the warranty and to ensure they do not work on the care until they call. I called the very next morning and spoke to someone in service. I gave him the warranty information and he told me to call me after they contact the warranty company. I think got a text from the service consultant stating he would call. He texted me to say he was on hold and they were taking forever. I then got a call that the parts were covered. I went to pick up my vehicle. The amount on the invoice was 984, significantly less than if I had been paying out of pocket. When questioned, I was told that was the payment and that was all. The brakes were not repaired. When asked why the breaks were not done the response was Oh I didn't know. I left very upset. I contacted the manager who stated they would get back to me after gathering more information. I never heard back. I did take my vehicle to another licensed auto shop. I was told the calipers on the back breaks and the pistons were faulty and that is why the breaks needed to be replaced. The auto shop called the warranty company and all were covered. Bergstrom's service department never once mentioned the calipers. They wanted me to replace the break pads and rotter. I feel they did not mention the calipers for 2 reasons; 1. They did not want to call the warranty company and 2 they wanted me to have to come back to pay again for break repair.

I recently purchased a used Kia Sorrento. I went for a 1st service visit last week. Everyone was very friendly. I had made a mistake on my calendar and showed up a day early. They accommodated the service that day and did not make me come back the next. The waiting area has free coffee and soda available. They do a thorough multipoint inspection. They discovered a worn serpentine belt which I had replaced. I’m about to take a very long trip and would not want to be stranded somewhere by a belt failure. They washed the car prior to returning it to me. I headed out feeling very good about the visit. Unfortunately, on the way out, I accidentally caused some damage to the facility. Their primary focus was my well-being. I was asked several times how I felt. I met the general manager who was very nice. They assisted with the insurance claim. Overall, they were friendly, accommodating, thorough, kind and empathetic. This is a top rate facility that I would recommend to everyone.

Great Service- They made the time! I was driving 1 hour into a 3 hour drive home when the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree; check engine, traction control, flashing cruise, abs light? I called the nearest service center, Bergstrom in Oshkosh asking if it was safe to continue to drive, could i stop in? At first I was told there were no open appointments, but then they said: stop in and we will look at it. 15 minutes later I was at the dealer. A short wait, and a polite young man came out and did a coutesy scan to diagnose the problem. He found it! I was okay to drive home, but would need to get some service in the near future. I am thankful and grateful this dealer understands cusotmer service! Only sad that they are so far from my home. My local dealer is no where close to this dealers service. I may have to plan a trip there just get the great service from this one.Thank you.
