I am always apprehensive when I have to go to a dealer for service that I am not qualified for ever since I was defrauded by a local dealer that cost me a fair amount of money in repairs. My contact was Lori, with whom I made an appointment regarding the transmission on our 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I had to wait a few weeks to get in. It only has 24,000 miles but has refused to shift out of first gear about 6-8 times which puts one in a temporary panic position trying to accelerate entering a highway. Everything checked out positive by their transmission person. There also are no recalls for this problem for our vehicle. I checked that myself. It seems that the most likely cause could be an accidental bump of the steering wheel shifting paddles. I know that I occasionally bump the telephone so it seems quite possible. I would like to say that the help and concern I received from Lori was the best dealership experience that I have ever had and I am now 87 years old and have traveled the country extensively using dealers in many states. This dealer gives me a lot of confidence and makes me comfortable and feel good that I can receive good service in the future and that their people are of good character.

I am a few states away and one of their internet salespeople, followed by salesman Chris Craemer, helped me through the whole process pretty easily. It was so great to be able to text and email between interactions and work around my schedule. Van Horn had really great reviews compared to most dealerships I had dealt with so that made me feel even better about dealing with them virtually. Great service!

Took my truck to there competition in waukesha and they had my truck diagnosed and fixed in one day . Ewald service department is a joke . Just know that you can take your warranty work to another dealership.
