I strongly urge anyone considering doing business with - Jonathon
I strongly urge anyone considering doing business with Abu Auto Sales to read reviews before stepping foot on their lot. The Better Business Bureau has given them an “F” rating, and now having gone through this ourselves, I can understand why.
This dealership is not transparent, is manipulative in how they handle situations, and is not honest about financing or deposits. They will take your deposit before financing is fully approved, and if the deal falls through, they will not return your money, even though they act as if everything is finalized up front. When asked for paperwork or actual details on warranties, financing, or contracts, they provide limited information, avoid direct answers, and get defensive if you question them or do your own research.
They do not like when customers come in informed, ask detailed questions, or challenge what is being presented. Our experience was stressful, frustrating, and unnecessary. Steven, the salesperson we worked with, initially came across as helpful, but when financing fell apart and we had to deal with the owner, he did not stand up for what was right and avoided accountability. The owner, on the other hand, was disrespectful, dismissive, and clearly unconcerned about how his actions impact people. From his demeanor, it was obvious this is not the first time customers have been treated this way.
I would not trust a single one of their responses to negative reviews. If you look through their BBB and Google reviews, you’ll see a pattern: anytime a customer posts a bad review, they either try to delete it or respond in a way that twists the situation and blames the customer. I fully expect them to do the same here. I honestly don’t even have the time or space to write out all of the ways they handled this situation poorly, but please take my word and the word of many others, this is not a place you want to do business with.
Out of genuine concern, I am warning others: do not hand over any money until you have every single piece of paperwork in writing and fully understand what you’re agreeing to, but even then, I would advise against doing business here altogether. This was a miserable experience, and I would not want anyone else to go through what we did.
