I’ve been to this place several times over the past two months, and my car still has the exact same issue it had when I first brought it in. The first day I went in, my car was under warranty, but I sti months, and my car still has the exact same issue it had when I first brought it in. The first day I went in, my car was under warranty, but I still had to pay out of pocket for a rental. They told me they’d reimburse me once they confirmed the warranty and that the rental was a GM vehicle. The rental place made sure to give me a GM car for that exact reason. A few hours later, I get a call saying my car is fixed, but they won’t cover the rental because they only reimburse if they keep the car for more than 24 hours. This is the first time I’m hearing about that policy. Again, my car is under warranty. I frustratingly eat the $40 because I just want to be done with it. I go back to the dealership to get my car, which I’ve been told is fixed. An employee pulls it up for me, apparently completely unaware that the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS STILL ON!! I go back inside, and after they look into it, they tell me there are actually two separate problems with the car. It’s around 5:00 p.m. at this point, so they ask me to come back the next day. I come back, and now they say they need to order a part, and it will come in next week. Some time passes while I debate whether I even want to deal with them anymore. Then one day I get a call. They say the part is in and ask when I’d like to come back to get it replaced. I figure starting over somewhere else is too much trouble, so we agree on Monday. When I come in Monday, I tell them that not only do I need the part installed, but also that the issue they supposedly fixed before isn’t fixed anymore. Now I’m being told I might have to pay for a new diagnosis because the new guy doesn’t realize my car is under warranty. They offer me a Lyft home, but say if the cost goes over a certain amount, I’ll have to cover the rest, so I just decide to wait. Nearly four hours later, they finally finish. They say they fixed the thing they supposedly fixed before again, and that they now need to order the part. This is the same part they told me they already had, which was the only reason I came back in the first place. They say it will arrive Thursday and we agree I’ll come in Friday. Friday morning, I call to confirm everything. The person on the phone says they’re not sure if there will even be availability for the car to be worked on and that they’ll call me back. That was two weeks ago. Still no call. Still the same issue with my car. More

I brought my car in due to noise in the front end. I had to get to Bend that day and asked if they could check it out for me. Amber worked quickly to have my car diagnosed by AJ. They were able to diagnose the issue, source the parts and complete the repair faster than you can imagine and at a very reasonable cost. I was so impressed that I felt like I should have paid much more for the service. This my friends, is the definition of team work, customer satisfaction and value of service rendered. Bravo to Ron Tonkin Chevy for employing such high caliber service professionals! Amber, AJ & Caleb, thank you for you professionalism and caring. Your employer should be proud to have you on the team. I would also like to thank the mechanic who performed the work in a timely manner, well done! More
