I thought I’d share my poor experience with Perfect Auto of Akron. I have given 3 stars - The car deserves 5 stars – it’s beautiful - The buying experience deserves 1 star - customer service was not good, and there are serious issues with the warranty being misrepresented. I purchased a 2015 911 Turbo S from Perfect Auto in January 2026. The car was in very good cosmetic condition. One of the main items discussed was a warranty – I was also looking at Porsche CPO vehicles and so wanted a comparable vehicle warranty that would allow for a zero-cost repair by a Porsche dealer. The warranty was essential for security as a test drive and PPI was not practical given the weather conditions at the time of purchase. Perfect Auto confirmed in writing that the warranty would cover the diagnosis and repair at a Porsche dealer. I picked up the vehicle using a trailer in mid-January, and Perfect Auto (Alan) confirmed in writing that the car would be filled with fuel and ready to go. I arrived at the prescribed time and then had to wait for around 1 hour for the car to be “ready” – it was not clear what needed to be prepared and was irritating as we had a narrow weather window for transport. We loaded the car onto my trailer and on arriving home, I garaged the trailer with the Porsche on it. On Feb 19, the weather was finally suitable to be able to pull the car off the trailer, and that is when I noted that there was less than ¼ tank of fuel. It had not been filled before I picked it up. I notified Alan, and he promised to send a gas card. As of the time of writing (4 weeks later!), this has not arrived and I’ve only received excuses. I was able to drive the car on the road for the first time on March 1. It drove great, but I found that the PCM was cycling off and on approximately every 6-7 minutes, and the navigation would not initialize. I had my state inspection performed by my local Porsche dealer the following week. They checked out the car, confirmed that it was in good mechanical condition and tried a reset of the PCM without success. Further tests indicated that the PCM had failed. Given that prior to March 1, the vehicle had not been driven since I picked it up and so it is possible that the PCM had failed prior to me buying the car. I was not too concerned as I had purchased a warranty, and so we started the warranty claim. It turned out that the zero-cost warranty was anything but. The DOWC warranty sold by Perfect Auto does not cover the book hours to replace the PCM and also will not pay a Porsche dealer hourly labor cost. DOWC are also refusing to pay the sales tax, leaving me with a bill for $956 for the repair made under a warranty sold by Perfect Auto as zero deductible. None of these exclusions were disclosed in the paperwork supplied by Perfect Auto (one page of the contract and a brochure) and I was repeatedly assured (both verbally and in writing) that this DOWC level 4 exclusionary coverage would allow for a repair by my Porsche dealer without cost to me. I have tried to contact Alan multiple times to discuss the issues prior to posting this review. Alan can only make excuses for his lack of availability and seems unable and/or unwilling to resolve the issues, especially something as simple as the promised gas cards to fix the foul up on delivery. After this experience, I will not purchase another vehicle from Perfect Auto. More

When I decided to delay my purchase, Alan was very understanding, not the high pressure tactic, I don't like to be sold, I like to buy.
