We ended up taking it to a real dealership in Vancouver where they told us all the repairs that were done were wrong. Had to pay again. And that we had a slow transmission leak?!? 4000 later runs great. How did they not see this leak after having it for weeks!!!!! Nightmare. More

We have received unbelievably poor service from her. Our car has been here since May 12th. We had ongoing issues with it getting “fixed”, but picking it on and the service light still be on, even before Our car has been here since May 12th. We were renting by a car and Ron Tonkin said that we could bring in our rental, as they have an “agreement” with the rental company and they would give us a company car. We brought in our rental to Ron Tonkin on the 23rd (NINE days ago). We called Hertz about the car and they thought we still had it out on the 27th! We told them it was at Ron Tonkin waiting to get picked up, re: their agreement. We even called Ron Tonkin asking about this and they said an email had been sent. Just now 9 days after we returned the car to Ron Tonkin, I see I got a charge for an extension of the rental car (meaning, the company thinks it’s still out). I believe the rental car is still at Ron Tonkin NINE days later. This also has just been unbelievably bad service from the start. I encourage anyone not to purchase a car from here, because if you need service this is a terrible place to go to. More

I’ve been to this place several times over the past two months, and my car still has the exact same issue it had when I first brought it in. The first day I went in, my car was under warranty, but I sti months, and my car still has the exact same issue it had when I first brought it in. The first day I went in, my car was under warranty, but I still had to pay out of pocket for a rental. They told me they’d reimburse me once they confirmed the warranty and that the rental was a GM vehicle. The rental place made sure to give me a GM car for that exact reason. A few hours later, I get a call saying my car is fixed, but they won’t cover the rental because they only reimburse if they keep the car for more than 24 hours. This is the first time I’m hearing about that policy. Again, my car is under warranty. I frustratingly eat the $40 because I just want to be done with it. I go back to the dealership to get my car, which I’ve been told is fixed. An employee pulls it up for me, apparently completely unaware that the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS STILL ON!! I go back inside, and after they look into it, they tell me there are actually two separate problems with the car. It’s around 5:00 p.m. at this point, so they ask me to come back the next day. I come back, and now they say they need to order a part, and it will come in next week. Some time passes while I debate whether I even want to deal with them anymore. Then one day I get a call. They say the part is in and ask when I’d like to come back to get it replaced. I figure starting over somewhere else is too much trouble, so we agree on Monday. When I come in Monday, I tell them that not only do I need the part installed, but also that the issue they supposedly fixed before isn’t fixed anymore. Now I’m being told I might have to pay for a new diagnosis because the new guy doesn’t realize my car is under warranty. They offer me a Lyft home, but say if the cost goes over a certain amount, I’ll have to cover the rest, so I just decide to wait. Nearly four hours later, they finally finish. They say they fixed the thing they supposedly fixed before again, and that they now need to order the part. This is the same part they told me they already had, which was the only reason I came back in the first place. They say it will arrive Thursday and we agree I’ll come in Friday. Friday morning, I call to confirm everything. The person on the phone says they’re not sure if there will even be availability for the car to be worked on and that they’ll call me back. That was two weeks ago. Still no call. Still the same issue with my car. More
